Since Origin requires you to go online, and the DLC will then auth against your account like all previous Bioware games. So if you put the DLC in your folder, it just says that you're not authorized for it.

Because the hump is where I usually find out about the crack/release first. As soon as the crack is out I can guarantee you wont see me here, until maybe after I finish the game.

I think the problem isn't the derp emoticons, but more that you don't agree with them. Haven't seen you complain in other threads. But here you disagree with most of the userbase that this is a shit game, so you QQ how bad the community is. Rolling Eyes

Mass Effect 2 did the same thing.

I don't disagree or agree with anyone yet. Maybe that's the problem. I like to reserve my judgement (about most things, not just games) until I have a lot more information on the topic.

I'm just as annoyed by people here posting how crap it is, and by people on bioware forums posting how perfect it is.

There's been plenty of gameplay information, videos, previews, news, knowledge.. and not to mention a full-blown playable demo with both SP and MP components. How much more knowledge do you think people should wait for? :\

More information on what? Rolling Eyes On the main storyline? It's been out for ages. Gameplay? Demo and dev posts on BioWare forum gave enough info. Graphics? Again demo. What more you need?

I suppose the 'dark horse' component this time around is Origin. Obviously people used hacked DLC content and such in previous ME and DA games. But since ME3 is absolutely tied to Origin, we'll have to see how things get 'untangled'.

Amalur doesn't really count since that was available via other channels other than Origin, so most efforts seemed to have been concentrated there, rather than on Origin itself.

Personally I had a huge blast playing the multi ME3 demo. The main issue is that matchmaking took FOREVER. When playing with my friends it was fine though.

I find it hard to explain my reasons, but I just don't judge things this early. You might think it's not too early to judge, but I do. Leave it at that. I'll play the full game and then decide if it's crap or not.

Maybe it's because I'll primarily judge the game on the story, and demo didn't show a lot of that. I already said I don't like the main concept of the story, but I still reserve my judgement.

Yeah, I liked it too. First decent trailer for Mass Effect 3 since a very long time.

And apart from that dying kid (call me nazi kid rapist Laughing ) and 'you have to saev teh Eartz' intensely pathetic bullcrap almost not stupid or cheesy.

Most of us wasting our time here tonight usually approach topics in a serious manner, I think you know that - heck, I'd even dare say the majority of us trolls here are waiting for the crack to show up, if I know the hump right, and I do.

I think, if you truly look at it, there's a lot of information out there already. You just have to fill in the gaps, with what you know about BioWare in general, and you probably already know most of what's about to go down AND how in ME3.

I don't think I can really explain why. Even with all the information I always try to find explanations why is something the way it is, and don't see it as bad as others.

Only after I actually turn on the full game, play for a few hours and see how the whole experience makes me feel will I know if I truly like it or not.

Anyway, I'm off to play Arkham City. Need to finish that before this gets cracked.

Yes, you can only know for absolute certain, once you hold the final product in your hands, that is true, no one is debating that - but the chance of us incorrectly interpreting the information we have (for ourselves) is by now minimal. We could be wrong Very Happy

So I watched the launch trailer and imho, ME2 had the best launch trailer.

ME1<ME3<ME2

But I did like how this trailer used original music while the ME2 trailer had NIN - Two Steps From Hell.

1 and 2 are still amazing.

I did this to the ini files, there's way more to go trough but it's a start.

 Spoiler:

(Can also enable friendly fire as in the previous games, didn't find the ammo switch from ME2 though but shared power cooldown can be disabled again and of course tons of other gameplay tweaks in difficulty and gameplay ini files.)

I am pretty sure it will work the same way as mass effect 2, iNatan can try to look at it.
