I never thought id would make a game less relevant to my tastes than Doom 3 - but then Rage came out.

Hopefully the 90s way, but seeing how Rage turned out, can't be very hopeful. And Doom 3 didn't capture the Doom-feel properly either IMO.

If it was DOOMIV I'd say it's probably like Hell on Earth
It definitely looks like the assets used in RAGE, most things appearing as if it's glued/melted together with shitty low res textures.

I maybe played 2 hours or so of Rage before I lost interest. Sad, actually. Wanted to like it.
And I agree even Doom 3 didn't have that Doom~esque feel anymore.

Oh great! Looks like Modern DOOM Warfare. DOOM should take place in space ffs. Not this urban setting shite every game has today.
