try other gfx driver !!!
i got 77 30 and it works perfect with everything on max in 1024 x 768 !!!
no crashes and no problems !!! |

Can you enable resolutions beyond the 1280*960 for play on a 16:10 display, just like in Battlefield 2 ?

I just tried those drivers, i still get the pauses. My comp should be able to handle this game no problem, its a 3ghz p4, 6800nu and 1gig of ram.

I'll try the 77.62's soon but i seriously doubt that'll fix the problem.
The stress test runs fine and doesnt pause at all, its only when im playing online.

Yup, been playing gta and others for hours without any hiccups. Hopefully the final wont give me these problems.

I have experienced the same slow downs as other guys did after playing continuesly for a while. I may agree there is somewhat a memory leak.
Besides that, in task manager details fear eats less ram than bf2 which sucks almost half a gig!!

i've heared that there is an official beta out for the public,is it true???
if so,where can i donwload it???
or what is the filename (and i'll look for it myself)

does the public beta needs some registration process or a CDKEY?
i tried the closed beta...and managed to get the installation cdkey..but when i tried MP playing it just said that the key is invalid.

Beta test? This is nothing but a mass run and gun fiesta.
How anyone can find any problems other than lag is beyond me.
I haven't stayed alive for more than a couple minutes at a time.
Might grab this for single player but if this test is what the gameplay will be like, I skip.................it.

I enjoy the multiplayer.. Dual pistols + Strafe = FUN!
Can't want for the whole game to be released. I think i am going to buy this one as i actually do enjoy the MP.

The game runs ok : /
settings low, res 800x600. Seems to be really jaggy, wish my GC could be pushed just a bit harder for some AA.

I run mine maxed out... without AA or AF (yet). will turn AA and AF later.

For the hell of it I put in some fake system specs and downloaded the beta. It runs surprisingly smooth but with everything down of course.

gahhh ppls...the game isnt that demanding on the hardware like bf2 does.
just update ur drivers and cleanup ur computer,and im sure its gonna yield some results.

the release date for fear has been anticipated... it was "fall 2005" now it's "summer 2005" my bet is for an early august release, like doom3 last year
