now now, we all know you internet folks can only master TV dinners and mac&cheese BUT this is for those rare people who do cook... either out of sheer enjoyment, necessity, lack of mama or wife and so on... what dish do u make which u are proud of? favorite cuisine? SHARE... pics welcome!

I am famous for my extremely manly lasagnas which could potentially induce a heart attack out of sheer goodness. think 3 pounds of beef, liter and half of milk, 3 boxes of lasagna and 1K of cheese for one pan....

Ravioli with jalapenos and melted cheese?

first attempt at chili which everyone loved but was too watery and not thick enough for my taste

bacon wrapped, egg glazed, boneless chicken breast fillet with smoked ham and swiss cheese stuffing ( did NOT taste as good as it sounds)

and finally i had to attempt my hand on making my most fav dish ever...sushi... looks bad but was first try and its HARD to make em look good... whatever they tasted awesome.

LOL waldo i love that guy hahahahah in one episode he give a napkin to a girl to wipe her face, then like quickly eats the napkin like a rapist lol i love it

sausj that looks awesome man. i love simple and tasty dishes... meat balls? are those boiled or pan fried potatoes?

next time for awesome potatoes snack buy those tiny round yellow and red potatoes (baby dutch potatoes) and Toss the little taters in a good amount of olive oil, crushed garlic, salt (kosher or flaked) fresh ground pepper and rosemary. roast in a single layer in preheated 375 degree oven in a shallow pan for about a half hour or longer if needed. Taters should yeild easily to a fork. VERY easy and VERY tasty.

pan friend ones, they took about 30min to be perfect tho (while on the package they say 10min -.-', but then they didn't had the nice crunchy outside)
And yes, meatballs with Italian pre-spiced meat.

LIES! Mad

Or maybe it was cause you used chicken breast... which can end up a bit dry on the oven without some proper spices.

Yeah, should've used bacon instead. Bacon wrapped in bacon, now there's a winner!

u have to roast it fast in a pan. only like 1 or 2mins on the highest temperature.
so it will get some flavor and looks done.
then put it in the oven till it's finished.

chicken meat is just the best if its done right.

Thats light as in a light lager/pilsner type of beer. Heineken, Carlsberg, budweiser etc.
Where as Guinness is a dark beer/stout.

A stout would be suiting for that Chili you made in the first post.

Just sounding a shame if you thought Heineken to be a good tasting beer or a good pairing for asian food.

I got no pictures.

But one of my favorites that i like to make is

Pork Tenderloin wrapped in puff pastry. Its basically a tenderloin wrapped in prosciutto. Then brushed with Dijon mustard. All wrapped in puff Pastry. Seasoned with fresh rosemary.

Its amazing. Smile

Im usually the side dish guy though. I make a killer Curried fruit to go with ham.
And any veg goes good with a nice cheese sauce made from scratch with a white sauce base.
