The games were re-released on Steam yesterday http://store.steampowered.com/sub/13237/
Anyone here played them? If they are as good as Gemini Rue, I would consider getting the bundle.
I bought them but had no idea about their connection or what other titles the developer had done though now that I've checked the linked to website it's more clear, haven't played them though but they seem to be pretty good.
Gemini rue was very good. I didnt even know they did other games
3080, ps5, lg oled
Sin317-"im 31 years old and still surprised at how much shit comes out of my ass actually ..."
SteamDRM-"Call of Duty is the symbol of the true perfection in every aspect. Call of Duty games are like Mozart's/Beethoven's symphonies"
deadpoetic-"are you new to the cyberspace?"

Just a correction: They aren't by the "Gemini Rue developers". They are by the Gemini Rue publishers.
Gemini Rue was designed by some guy that had no connection to them, but they liked it and decided to publish it. They are responsible for the casting and recording the voice overs of Gemini Rue, marketing, sales, and so on, but not for anything else (script, art, coding, etc).
Having said that, I've read Blackwell series are excellent games, and some say they are even better than Gemini Rue.
I played them and liked them more than Gemini Rue.
They are also somewhat different, no combat or gunfights.
The controls are better imho.
And they are a bit shorter ~3h I would say.
I really like the characters and the stories in the Blackwell games.

They're decent games but a LOT shorter than you might think. The first game basically only had a single ghost case and was mostly a matter of comparing notes which was disappointing. I still need to play the last two.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."
The Blackwell Epiphany isn’t a good ending for the Blackwell series. It’s pretty much the perfect ending, both wrapping up and nailing a series that’s been going from strength to strength since it first appeared way back in 2006. It’s a testament to just how far both Wadjet Eye and creator Dave Gilbert’s writing have have come since the clever-but-janky Blackwell Legacy, excellent Unbound, slightly stumbling Convergence, and the confident, fully formed Deception from – gosh, 2011?

Could not get into this series. The voice 'acting' really turns me away from it. Dislike her tone and sound of voice and well his is rather dry.
Puzzles themselves were kinda meh, can't really judge the story since it annoyed me so much that I only played a bit more than an hour. Yup sometimes voice acting can really hurt a game for me
It was supposed to be that way, she's a very awkward person. And he's a disilusioned ghost from the 40's ( also, relatively low voice actor budget )
Anyway, I think I'll have to *shudder* buy it if it's not released by Monday. Everyone is probably to damn preoccupied by Dark Souls to bother with releasing this. Good thing I have some cards money left, won't be that pricey.
Once you get into it, the 4 blackwell games are nice classic cnp adventures and the story is great aswell. I'll dive into the fifth one in a few hours. The voice acting works for me.
