Well i reckon it was a fix it was on Tv about 3 weeks ago. I'm a pretty big skeptic when it comes to mis-direction and suggestions anyway but i have failed to see one of his "tricks" that i havent had my doubts over.

hypnosis can work only on people with mental diseases or actors. this video is a fake. of course he would admit openly that he isn't always successful because he is smart enough to know that if he says this, it will convince more people into believing him.

As soon as I read this sentence I could tell you're as ignorant as they come, so there was no need to read the rest to know it's a load of shit.

I said I could tell from that sentence the rest would be bollocks, I didn't say whether I read it or not. Anyway, all it means is that you're taking a guess on a 50/50 chance. But you'll never know if you were right anyway.

I actually thought this was bullshit untill I heard it was Darren Brown.. I saw some program last year where he himself did Russian Roulette on live tv, and it definately looked real.

Smarten up and stop expressing your words so vaguely, for they will be misunderstood. You didn't take that into account did you? It isn't a guess.
There's no evidence in the video indicating whether this hypnosis was real or not. And as for my statement about hypnosis, go ahead and prove me wrong (oh wait you can't). I can prove you wrong without even providing any outside evidence, such is your idiocy.
If hypnosis is real, then as we have seen many people beyond the mentally ill are susceptable.
If the phemonemom of hypnosis is a social construct, then in actuality many people are susceptible to hypnosis as a definition of controlling people through suggestion because so many people react positively to the hypnotists suggestions. Whether they do this because they are really hypnotised, or because they think it is expected of them is besides the point. Because they are still not mentally ill.

except for it wasn't real and was proven to be pre-shot in some location in the isle of skye or something not in a different country where the gun laws are different. |

Why is he still on TV then if that was fake? You would think that would discredit him enough that his whole show would be regarded as bullshit.
Maybe it wasn't in the location they stated, but it still could have been real.

It was 100% pre-recorded and in a different location. i dont need to dis-credit his accusations anymore. he's a showman, sure SOME of his tricks may be real but a lot of them will be acted out. He's the same as david blaine, sure some of his stunts are real magic but the rest is camera trickery (levitation any1?)

Yeah, most of Blaines tricks are pure BS. And i don´t think all of Browns´ tricks are real either.

my biggest suspicion was the guys "friends". If I stood at a bar and my friend dozed off like that, I would try to wake him at once. The last part when he woke up just seemed like bad acting.. On TV, this stuff doesn't impress me. I think this guy goes by 1 rule: "Lets make good entertainment and if people let themself fool, the better!"

I am sorry. I have to say this. I am not going to argue about hypnosis or any other such incredibly important stuff. Animalmother. You are an annoying little prick, whose posts continue to annoy me because of their immeasurable arrogance and stupidity. You need to grow up. When you do, you will most likely learn that there's a world outside of this forum, and you don't have to post 10 times a day every day here. And then you will feel regret about all the years wasted here.

I think the 'get a life, stop posting' argument is such a cliche now that it's getting rather pathetic, doubly so because it's always made by hypocrits like yourself.
