the previewer talking only on Dead Space 2,what is the date of that preview anyway? I don't watch TV that match.

I could be wrong, but so far the Dead Space Franchise doesn't look good with the Australian part of Visceral Games Melbourne closure.

IGN says it's "recent" but I don't know how accurate is that.

And, again Visceral Games hasn't closed. Their Australlian department closed. That was making a new IP. Not Dead Space games.

Recently, an Israeli news show did a tour of Visceral Games' studio in California and may have inadvertently announced Issac Clarke's return in the process. As they show off some of the games studio, a brief shot of a sign that clearly says Dead Space 3 can be seen, along with what appears to be concept art hanging on the wall.

Some players would love for us to have kept them harder, longer and more complicated. But when two or three people in a ten person playtesting session just can't get past it, we have to 'nerf' it. But that's just a playtesting example.

The good news is that in each of their play-testing sessions they've had 7-8 people who are hacor gaemrsz meaning the master race has still not depleted in numbers and is still living and kicking. PC Master Race

Golly... I don't mind things being nerfed, but they totally approached that wrong. It should be "When 7 or 8 people in a 10 person session can't get past it". I mean, really, you're screwing over the majority for the minority? Since when does that make sense?

I think people forgot that the game shipped with a mode that is challenging (Zealot) AND one that unlocks after the completion of the game that allows you to save only 3 times (Hard Core).

Has anyone played the game in one of those two modes or...?

Does that mode alter the game's "puzzles" or the levels in any way?

Just like every other artificial difficulty change, all those modes do is double enemy damage soak/dealing and halve your damage soak/dealing. Oh and can't forget halving the amount of ammo found.

Well, I wasn't exactly complaining about the difficulty or the lack of it, just about the level (and puzzle?) design changes for the lol wut's.

Especially since I completely fell for that with skyrim.
Kept thinking how easy the game was and then I realized that I've chosen the default difficulty setting. Sad

This gotta be one of the best games I've played in my entire life. I've just finished it and it was fucking awesome. I loved every minute. It caused constant stress and panic (on survivalist difficulty). What a hardcore game! It was really unbelievable. I shouted "FUCK!!" at least a hundred times during the course of the game. So many intense situations, what a thrill! I can't praise it enough. For me it's the best survival horror game ever! Even better than Resident Evil 4 and Dead Space 1. You don't see games like that very often.

Everything is better than "stop to shoot" piece of shit game Laughing

Are you fucking kidding? Resi 4 is spectacular and if your only complaint is "stop to shoot" then, please, allow me to point out the previous four titles; Resi 1 through to Veronica Laughing

RE4 and DS1/2 are different kinds of games.
That being said, DS1 >>>> DS2
