Im just curious about which music player most people use here. Whenver I visit people's homes I see that they are either using itunes or windows media player Vomit

I personally have been using Winamp 2.91 for years and still do. Never found a reason to upgrade or change to something new.

I use both Winamp 5.6 and Foobar, depending on my mood, I wonder why foobar isn't in this list?..

WinAMP 5.52... what's the difference between 5.52 and 2.91? I suppose 2.91 is a bit faster ( not bogged down by features ) ?

I used to use mediamonkey till I realized the stupid program wouldn't distringuish the desire of deleting songs only from my playlist and not my hard drive. Sometimes it would ask, sometimes it wouldn't. And for a while I was wondering why certain songs weren't playing. Come to find out MM deleted them, and it doesn't even send the songs to the trash can, just perm removes em.

So I'm back to the newer WinAmp, granted I dislike how bulky it's gotten over time.

MPD on my linux server
the thing that it's not a single app but a daemon that you connect to allows for all kinds of fun stuff
like having a client on any computer (or phone or whatever) and connect to it and control it
and there's a gazillion clients to choose from

Foobar. A lot easier to make new playlists and edit stuff

Grooveshark Razz

Used Winamp before that though and even now if I want to listen to something not on GS I use Winamp5. Installed a cleaner skin than the default though!

Also, WMP and iTunes Reaction
Horseshit on a stick is what those 2 are!

foobar on Windows. Been using Winamp recently because it lets me sync my music on my Android phone through wi-fi even though I can't stand it otherwise.

On Linux I use Banshee.
