Cause of the christmas I have some extra budget and i will be putting some money aside in the few coming months. I was thinking of upgrading my cpu and cause of that i have to change my mobo and ram too i guess. Also not sure if my case will fit the new stuff. Is 2500k still the best budget upgrade, if so, how much would it cost atm to get a new cpu, mobo and ram? Or is it maybe better to wait till something new and better comes out? My current rig is in the sig.

E: the case is Aerocool ExtremEngine 3T (seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/13125790@N07/sets/72157601934914722/detail/) . I had to move the big fan outside for my 6870 new cooling to fit.

Forgot to mention Id like some cheap cooler for the new cpu aswell

Wait ivy bridge (about 20-30% faster per clock than Sandy Bridge) and it costs the same.
