Does anyone know of a 1/2mb free vpn which allows torrent connections? My ISP has capped my torrent download speed and they are barely running (10-11kbps) Crying or Very sad

I can't buy a paid VPN until Jan end so I need a temporary solution until then. The gofreevpn's don't work now and the canada one doesn't allow torrent bandwidth.

Thanks for any help Very Happy

1 and 2 are still amazing.

I would try a different ISP.

Most VPN 's will still slow your speeds down I think. Any free one isn't going to be reliable or limit bandwidth or have usage restriction garbage.

I looked for one a while ago. No success. If it sounded to good to be true it usually wasn't. Best of luck.

Unfortunately, there are only 3 ISP's available in my area and this is the best one. The other two have really poor uptime and customer support.

Okay

And what should I use? There were complaints that imghunt was also loading slowly/improperly. Imgur, on the other hand, has the stupid 2MB restriction per file. Abload seems to have been blocked here.

Buy a webhost for those gigantic gif's? Troll Face

I don't think there even is any decent site to host larger gif's atm, all the sites seem to fail at least in one category (no mandatory registration, unlimited bandwidth, unlimited file size, fast loading speed, hotlinking allowed). Resizing the gif's is pretty trivial with the right programs, so unless they're really massive imgur is the best choice still.

Call their CS and tell that either they stop throttling or you'll switch to another ISP. They'll lose more money by losing your sub than they would from the increased bandwidth, and money talks.

There was something about using imageshack as a seedbox? Downloads from tracker then you download from shack via Http. Sounds like a work around? I never did this so I don't know understand it exactly. I am just throwing out ideas.

Newty182 has a good point about encryption. I assumed you already did that. I think a lot of ISP have become more sophisticated and can still detect torrent traffic.

Yeah, thanks. The http suggestion did send me on the right tangent.

Anyway, I think I found a somewhat decent solution. I'm running a http download alongside the torrent and my bandwidth is being divided between the both of them.

Not the most optimal solution but atleast its better than the speed I was originally getting.

The 2 download differently and I think a ISP can detect that. HTTP is to a single connection to a single computer, Torrents are multiple. Torrents grab different packets out of order and HTTP is sequential sequence.
