Welp and on goes the ranting.
Since october I've been working at a nightclub tending bar etc.
(and I've talked to others about it who work there longer than me).
This company just isn't able to pay it's staff on time.
On time (for me at least because that's the way I know it from other companies. Most companies around here that is) is the 28th-31th.
Because it's customary in germany to get paid monthly you want to have your money before the first of the next month. Otherwise how're you gonna pay your bills, right?
So how the fuck am I supposed to pay my bills if they don't pay me until the 6th or 8th?
I know for a fact that the place made a shitload of money last month so even after paying their rent/whatever bills it should've been possible to pay the staff ON TIME for once.
I know other use this as a secondary job but I don't. It's my only source of income and I freaking depend on that money.
Its no different anywhere else in the world with clubs, was same when i used to work two jobs when younger, we had 7 bars in the club etc and they all on a fairly good night take 10k each in the till counts at end of night. and that was just general booze money.. They used to even then have excuses for not paying up on time to the staff..
not much you can do apart from go get different work really.
