Funcom (http://www.funcom.com) keeps spamming me with activation email.
Best part is, i didn't even visited their website in the past year or so.. Donno why this is suddenly happening, but its annoying as fuck.
lol... got 9 more in the time that i'm typing this..

Did you guys get the "your Paypal account has been suspended log in to reactivate" thing? It looked very real. I can respect that. If you're gonna scam, you can atleast put some effort into it.

I don't really care, gmail spam report is easy to use and filters good

And FYI. Finding something annoying is not the same as complaining. And this was from 1 company before that prolly had server issues.

So... you say that other indexing servers go through the humps and use OCR on all images, to send spam to that emails?
BTW these sections are fairly less visited than f.e. the gaming section or even the void. It's one of the places that basically only the core community visits.

I believe the Bitching Session is also open to non reg guests, so if you post it in one of the public forums, there's a good chance it will get snatched up by a bot trolling for new addresses. It seems unlikely that is the case as you already played AoC however, so it probably came from somewhere else.
Alot of game companies like that have personal info leaked or sell it off all the time, whether they tell you lies about it or not. That would be my guess in where the spam is coming from with it being targeted like that.

Ehm, he received funcom spam and said it was probably due to a server error. He posts a screenshot of the spam in this thread and just after posting this screenshot he suddenly receives much more bullshit spam. OK SherlockJ, please elaborate
