Great, now I'll have to run steam in offline mode because I just can't get the auto updater to not automatically update the game.

Ok a Skyrim n00b here. Just got the RZR release cause I can't afford to buy it for a few weeks. What kind of tweeks do I need to use for better performance. I have 2 HD5750's running in crossfire mode with 3 22 inch LCD's with eyefinity enabled.

11.11b drivers should do.
(Latest ATI hotfix.)
Failing that disable Crossfire since it will otherwise scale negatively and with image corruption.
EDIT: Ah it finally started updating, at ~7 KB/s hah.

Patch only updated Skyrim - Interface.bsa and TESV.exe so I guess it was all code changes and those interface updates, nothing for update.esm (Used for all patching to Skyrim.esm or how to explain it.) unfortunate then but not unexpected seeing the patch notes.

Oh that's unfortunate, didn't even know profiles were that specified, strange as I mean the 6000 series is sort of a improvement over the 5000 series but it's not a new architecture.
(It's sort of 8800 to 9800 with Nvidia, of sorts it could also be 480 to 580 though that's a bit different.)
EDIT: SkyrimPrefs.ini saw fMouseCursorSpeed=1.0000 being added when refreshed.
EDIT: Skyrim.ini
fDecapInitialSpeed=250.0000
bEnableLipLookup=1
bAlwaysSaveAllInfo=0
sSaveGameGameVersionOutdated=This save game was created on a later version of Skyrim. Please download any updates.
