Human Centipede II
Why did I? No clue. The movie actually starts out pretty funny, and is like a dark comedy up until the half way mark. The violence is a bit much after that.
6/10 for the first half of the movie for the comedy gold mine. 0/10 for everything after.

it wanted to be epic it failed. some shots didn't carry out long enough to be epic
it was cut short. Stereotyping all the bad westerns out there. If the dialogue was any decent western it would get a 7 but as it stands it's a very poor movie

5.5/10
film was just too long... way way way too llong. cut out all the stupid bullshit, make it 90-100 mins, and it would have been a lot better.
and ONCE AGAIN a chick ruins it. yes shes great eye-candy, but every single fucking scene she was in, dragged the movie down, and slowed down the pace...
get rid of the chick, get rid of the fucking kid, set the film primarily at night, and make it into a horror focused film, and this would have been really enjoyable... but as it stands, it was just a silly and poorly paced dumb film that didnt know if it wanted to be a gory horror or a loud dumb action film... and it mostly failed at both.
sucks because the cgi was enjoyable, and it had a great cast.

Ahhh come off it, Chiv.. I was like "F**K U ALIEN BYATCHES!!!" near the end of it all and felt we humans got some royal payback considering how "ancient" our ancestors were a hundred+ years back. We should have got our arses handed to us on a silver platter but I quite enjoyed the turn-around even if it came from help from the outside. [Yes trying NOT to spoil too much].
In the end.. I did like the film and even grabbed the EXTENDED cut. Yeah imagine you felt the 120mins run was long eh? Now add an additional 15min?!?!? heheh..

Warrior 9/10
great perfomances, especially by Nick Nolte who deserves and oscar nomination, and i thought Edgerton gave a better performance than Hardy, overall even if it's cliche'd sometimes, it's still fantastic
too bad for the PG-13 rating, i mean.. a shitload of blows to the head and NO BLOOD

Cowboys vs. Aliens - 5.5/10 - riddled with typical Hollywood bullshit, it went into full retard mode at some times and the plot was plain ridiculous most of the time. The cast was good enough, CGI was good and the aliens were done well. Enjoyable, worth a single watch.

the thing (2011) 6.5/10
probably pretty biased because i love sci-fi horror, especially these isolated location with a bunch of people to be picked off kinda films.
i got the feeling they really ran out of ideas towards the end, and the biggest problem with it was lack of pacing... 2 sequences made me jump purely because of the loud sound, but there was never anything chilling or creepy about it, unlike carpenters film.
also some bits didnt make sense in the narrative of the thing, but overall, i enjoyed it. it could have been a lot better, but i guess the producers figured it would be an extra hard sell to have it be more creepy rather than a loud action horror....
really does make me want to rewatch pandorum again though, because that was just awesome, and exactly what i want these kinds of films to be.... gawd i hope that film gets its sequel (or prequel or whatever the fuck the director was planning)
