I finally decided to try this, gamed like a lunatic through yesterday, got my f2p demonologist to 23. It's quite cool, though the f2p model is quite limited. And you cannot get rid of lot of the limit without subscription (no possibility to remove coin lock via cash shop -> whenever you're not paying 10-15€/ month, you can have only 1G on character)
Also, once your subscription runs out, you character slots lock and you're back to 2 slots from f2p (opening slots via shop costs around 15€ per slot)
And cash shop is also selling beneficial equipment (probably not that good, but still level 80 epics)
Intel Core I-9 9900K @ stock, ASUS Z 390A MoBo, 32GB 3.6GHz, Zotac 3090 | BeQuiet 1000W PSU, Be Quiet Dark Base Pro 900 case, 49" Samsung G9

First of all, as f2p you are limited to 2 gold, not 1.
Secondly, as f2p you only have 2 character slots, but if you stop subbing, your stuff will still be there, it's just locked down until you sub again, it's getting deleted after 6 months or so.
Thirdly (is that a word?) the items in the shop is epic crap, and is meant for the impatient people who must have everything NOW! So in a way those items are useful for a low level with too much money, but they are shit compared to raid stuff.

1. 1 G information was then wrong, was said on the new player help channel.
2. They delete characters after 6 months of no use!? (I often have half a year long breaks)
Naa,the toons on my old account are still there and i didnt play for more than 1 Year.
If you create a class that isnt available on f2p while beeing subbed, you can still play that if youre back to f2p

Now, I don't know what hardware costs in Poland, I guess it's cheaper because everything is stolen from Germany and resold...
As far as I know, the Savage coast of Turan is not an Expansion. Just an content update and free for Premium Accounts (subscribers/abonnements).
More like an Content-Update.

Actually not free even for subscribers.
Yep, scratch that.
And a big FU to you Fuckcom. That's enough.. unsubscribed and never gonna touch it again.
Fucking f2p finally ruined it in the end and this Pack was the start. Before, nothing changed for a Subscriber and I could live with it. But this finally was the killing blow for me.
Just bought Turan, it's good bang for your buck (it's cheap) and good fun. It has Tier 3.5 raid and 6 man group instance plus a mini quest zone that scales to your lvl and a solo instance that is fucking hard and inspired by one of the original Conan books.
Ps. Oh, and the main Turan zone is mainly a lvl50 zone.
I don't get the hate for Conan as it is, I mean Khitai wasn't a free expansion either... Turan is ofc way smaller than Khitai but it's priced appropriately, and this comes from a person that is forced to pay in €.

I haven't watched more than 1 minute of the video but already I think the the reviewer is a retard, never heard of Funcom or any of their previous games? What kind of games journalist is he? Does he live under a rock? Works for a freaking MMO website ffs...
I'm done with Failcom myself. I played AoC for about 2 years. I had an 80 sin and 80 conq, both with full T2 (when it was the best, right before T3 opened up) and honestly got bored because there was nothing to do but raid. The PVP mini games were a joke, there was no "social" game. The guild cities were cool and all, but nobody could go there but your guild that I'm aware of.
Then they make a cool LOOKING expansion with Khati. But it was nothing but one monster grind fest. This was absolutely the worst thing they could have done for a game whose main player base was people who had 2,3,4 .. hell 10+ alts. I had 4 lvl 80's and with Khati, 3 of them were going to be thrown under the bus because the grind was literally hundreds of hours long.
I tried to play Anarchy Online, even bought it, but gave up after a couple of weeks when I finally got sick of the reload bug on my soldier, where the ammo count was incorrect and reload didn't work properly as well as constantly getting stuck under the world. Tried AoC, loved the combat mechanics, suffered through all the bullshit to get end game, did some major raiding, then watched them shit on everyone by making a retarded faction system for the expansion.
Needless to say, The Secret World and anything else they come up with can suck my ass. They are definitely a fail company who releases products way before they are ready for retail.
what they should of done, and I got the mail also is to tell you wether its the box std game you had as a vet or wether they would let u download and play the full expansion as well for those 30 days.. Im still tired eyed right now but sure it dont say anything of the sort, so its just "whatever your account state is" kind of thing I guess..
premium=sub=all content, got same email tho doubt ill bother
All content that was part of the original game, but nothing that was added after the game was released. (Unless you bought it)
I used an offer like this to get 30 free days at the beginning of January and it simply gave me access to the old content with every class, which was a shame.
It's kinda funny tho that maybe 1-2 weeks after the 30 free days ran out, they're already sending a new email with 30 more days.
To be honest, the new content they're offering DOES look kind of fun, and for the most part comes with 30 to (I think) 60 days of gametime, for 15 to 30$, which is fair on their part.
I think they should let players try out the new content, instead of limiting us to the old content. Because, in my case at least, replaying the old content simply reminded me of both why I liked Age of Conan, but also why I left.
AOC bored the shit out of me when i played it, so i doubt ill go back again (and i cant see the damn starter island anymore lol, one time its fun, but after its just torture ^^)
