... after a self-imposed maintenance time (which lasted a week due to having no time to complete it). 
Now finally I can play Skyrim again, but fucking Batman is coming tomorrow! FFS...
And now, for the MacFag© story of the week, since the PC was shut, I had to manage with the Mac only.  So I remember there was a BioShock port for Mac and decided to give it a go. I have to hand it to them, on and i5 with Intel HD 3000 (the Sandy Bridge kind) MacBook Air, I can play it 1280x800 on all things high (except for the DX10 features which are disabled in the menu on a Mac  ), and it runs 30fps and up. I guess the following quote is true after all:

In all seriousness, though, got to hand it to Feral Interactive for the good port, and have to hand it to Intel; even with a fucking on board, they are able to get better graphics and framerate than hurrdurr, even on a Mac.

You should've tried Angry Birds. It has a Mac version as well. I'm sure you'd not have had any performance issues with it.

Only poor people play games on a Mac. Just get a PC -and- a Mac. Problem solved. Put the latest hardware in the PC and it may even get some work done before it crashes. Use the PC for the occasional game (Skyrim or shit) and do everything else on the Mac. Best of both worlds and it's *easily affordable.

Now that we have *OnLive one might even argue the PC is obsolete, in my case anyway. OnLive has insane server farms to ensure the absolute best graphical performance... while I play Skyrim on my Mac. Don't know about real world lag issues as of yet, but they're said to be minimal. So if all that holds true I can safely throw the PC junk out of the Windows
