WD Caviar Green 1TB = £109. That drive is usually £40-45. At most. Reaction

samsung HDDs are overpriced. I can't really see the HDDs generally increasing in price here in Norway, but its some time since iv bought a HDD so that might be...

Anyway found a pretty cheap 2TB http://www.netshop.no/Avdelinger/Datautstyr/Harddisk/Ekstern-USB/Firewire/e-Sata/Seagate/Seagate-Expansion-Desktop-2TB-ekstern-7200RPM,-USB-20-50229-p0000178047.aspx

995 NOK = 170 USD, decent price for a 2TB. Dunno if seagate is any less shitty now than before tho :/

Samsungs aren't overpriced, they're more reliable than most any other HD manufacturer right now, including Western Digital and Segate.

Also 170 for a 2TB is a complete rip off in USD, those run around 90 USD here.....but that's not factoring in the exchange rate stuffs.

They should be higher than ever there as well because this shortage is a world wide issue, unless Norway has it's own HDD mining facility lol

Tell that to the 5 Spinpoints I've had failing here or at relatives over the past 18 months, including a 3 month old drive and a 1 month old drive Reaction
