I can but I won't, I refuse to make this game any easier.

Love it.
Slightly improved performance and a significant step forward in improving the image quality.
Just make sure to use also "Sharpen_fix_for_thoose_who_want_lowered_sharpening_effect-21-1-1".
_____
Btw, any fix yet for mouse Y-axis being linked to fps? It gets unplayable indoors when the FPS skyrockets and the Y-axis is a chore. |
Yes, here's the y-axis fix (already posted in this thread a few times)
I'm using Bandicam with great success and here are my skyrim.ini settings:
fMouseHeadingYScale=0.0150
fMouseHeadingXScale=0.0260
That ratio took me a while to find. It's perfect now in first person.
At first I thought that the 'Antiallias_and_sharpen_effect-21-11' mod gave a perf boost but then I tested it with an identical setting and my FPS were identical to using the game's AA/FXAA. And, the 'sharpening' it does is hideous to my eyes (I know image processing quite well). |
Thx for pointing it out but that ain't a fix, it's just a workaround for indoor areas. And as the FPS is sometimes all over the place in this game, the issue is very annoying for me.
_____
The "mod" regarding sharpening image is working very well here and, obviously, it is a subjective matter => you can USE IT/LIKE IT or not. Also the default sharpening setting is, indeed, bit too pronounced, that's why I mentioned the tweaked file to tone down the eye-poking.
So personally, I love it. I don't like the blurred look of the game when adding FXAA.

Fuck.
I was overencumbered so I put all my dragon loot into a dead body and kept dragging it around. It accidentally fell into river and went with the current, can't find it now

So is there some kind of level map - a map where you can see at what level your suppose to be at what areas? I just had a battle against a dragon and then agaist some bad ass lich thingy (Kroxix). That was not suppose to be a level 9 encounter i quess!
There are two kinds of people I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures, and the Dutch.

Krosis, and yes, it was supposed to be a level 9 encounter, just a little tougher one than mudcrabs.

Do those ore veins 'regenerate' in time ?
I know it sounds stupid but it would be nice to come back after a few days and mine it.

(Those higher end glass, ebony, daedric items look awesome but getting those materials won't be easy, I only managed to forge a single set of glass gauntlets so far though I can improve my existing Orcish equipment to the Epic level now.) |
Well done !
Are Orcish equipement any good when improved, I find them weak right now (lvl14) ?

Orcish has been overhauled a bit so it's kinda similar to the lore, they do great armor but the weapons don't hold up against the earlier Dwemer gear, should compare Dwemer and Elven equipment come to think of it but I suppose Dwemer wins but Elven is lighter.
(Still if you improve the equipment it holds up against basic higher-tier armors and weapons, now where's the nearest ebony mine outside Morrowind? - or what's left of that place by now.)
(Can't craft some variants either, Thalmor agents have this light elven armor variant instead of the heavier version you can craft, not that you'd use that equipment anyway but it looks nice, same with the imperial leather armor variant.)
EDIT: So it's divided between the lighter and heavier equipment also, well not quite surprising I guess since you'd use daggers and bows in a more stealth based approach.
(Thus the advantage of light but still good armor, elven armor doesn't look quite so ridiculous this time either.)

Maxed smithing a little bit ago.
Orcish is great until you can get Ebony. As you'd expect.
JB, Dwemer makes better heavy weapons, Elven make better light weapons. Or atleast daggers and bows (and arrows).
