I play on my 42" LCD with a Geforce 480 Gtx on max and lookin at the grass/water it looks like Morrowind. Nothing like HD textures or close to it. Water from the distance looks like sumthin from the 90s.

It's spoiler'ed enough. The picture is so tiny that you can't see it unless you click it... and by clicking it, you've negated any change of saving yourself from spoilers.

I tend to use thumbnails and more clear naming (Calling it artifact in this example) to avoid possible spoilers, still you don't know where it's located or anything.

Or well.
 Spoiler:

(Yeah I'm feeling a bit malicious, still it's nearly midnight here so I'm getting kinda crazy and tired too, which is nothing new but still.)

(Also finally more than one voice actor per race! plus more unique dialogue depending on the NPC type, huge improvements there.)

It's built from the code of the Gamebryo engine they used earlier, how much of that then remains in the Creation engine this has created is unknown but there are many similarities.
(If the meshes do end up being NIF files things are pretty clear though.)

Does anyone actually believe this is a new engine?
It's just a heavily modified one with a new renderer... which is good enough, because most of that clunky gamebyro feeling that ruins games (warhammer, oblivion, rift, fallout all suffered from it)

The only real issue I have is the fact that MY FUCKING MOUSE DOESN'T WORK IN THE MENUS. *smashs desk*. Mods'll fix that.... I hope. I don't even mind the layout that much, I just want my mouse to work.

In motion it's pretty good Breezer_, still pictures kinda highlight flaws like texture resolution and somewhat flat shading at times. (Where did parallax mapping go?)
(Lots of details in the existing textures however despite their low resolution plus numerous effects like candle flames, shadows and lighting and water streams and puddles for example.)

If someone posts pics all the graphic nerds instantly fixes their eyes on the most blurred out thing in the screenshots, and ignores everything else. Thats why you need to see it in motion Cool

I must be completely daft - I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to fucking block! I'm assuming you can still block with weapon only, but I don't see any key for it in the control mappings, and hitting the other mouse button simply triggers the other skill in the opposing hand.

Hold MB2 Smile
(Should work, hold MB1 for power attacks and time it with movement keys for different swings - same as Oblivion of sorts.)

(Can't block with dual wielding use and I don't think you can equip two shields either.)

EDIT: Hold MB2 (block) and press MB1 to push or hold MB1 to push harder. Smile

Well, case closed. On high end PC hardware it still looks like a console game (dead island/Bioshock). Textures are washed out and even Fallout looks better than this. Controls are console optimized anyways. I'll pass.

You mean with a 2 handed? Thats just holding right click, wont do much untill you spend points into block tho..

I wonder what happened to the "looks amazing if you hardware for it" or something like that, what bethesda itself said.
