Campaign is the same as always , I wouldn't notice if they start to put same maps all over again ..every sequel is almost identical to me. Same pattern..start the game..boom , pew , pew..kill somebody brutally with the knife , sniper mission..pew , pew..quick time event at the end..somebody dies , the end ( that's how campaign looks like every time ).
Only thing that was really fun is that new gun ( forgot the name ) at the begining and that remote robot mission with minigun and grenade launcher.

It's not just MW3 though,
I feel the gaming industry is lacking both originality and creativity lately.
for example, look at the latest wave of games: mw3, uncharted3, forza4, gow3 and the list goes on...every game is a sequel to sequel to a sequel. Most of them are good games, but to be honest, they are still more good of the same.
We need something fresh. or maybe the current generation of consoles exhausted itself.

2nd disc of a 2-disc set stolen? Is the game 2 discs then? Or would it have been the game disc stolen from a limited edition version or something?
May the NFOrce be with you always.

Waste of a verb. |
So if you thought it would be similar to the last ones then why burn it and not just wait for comments.
I'll say it again, if you choose to burn a game then its NEVER a waste of a verb, the reasoning behind this is simple:
Most people like myself follow the dev of a game, we see the screen shots, we watch the trailers and eventually see the game running. By that time most people will have made their mind up if its a game they want to try.
So after the many gameplay video's the game ends up doing the rounds, by then you must have a pretty good idea if you want to try the game, so you burn it, play it, decide you like it or not.
That fact that your bothered to burn it means plenty, to have waited and rented it would have cost more, to wait and borrow it would have taken longer so either way you are ahead of the game one way or another.
So its hardly the "waste of a verb".
Try going back to the days of the PSX when the best disk was the TDK's and as it was all new the disks were 7.50 UK each, now 'thats' a waste of a disk, not 75p...

So far I like it, more fun than BF3 (BF3 is more about realism) the opening level is the walk through seen before, the old building being hit an a chunk of it smashing in to the ground near you is great.
So far so good, since games like BF3 and MW3 are built around MP then people should not be surprised when the SP is shortish, so far I like it, blood, guts, semi decent AI (so far) and loads happening..
Good enough for me...

Anything as controversial as the 'No Russian' mission in Modern Warfare 2?

I didn't play a whole lot of MW2 or Black Ops, but I played a shit ton of the original MW and quite a bit of WaW.
And at least for the original MW that was some of the smoothest fucking online gaming I've ever encountered.
Are you being a dumb troll or did they somehow ruin their own netcode for real?

The lag depends on how good your ping is, The better your ping the worse off you are, I play on a 20ms ping connection and all cod games lag, The lag is at its worst when i'm host in all cod games, Lag compensation is the dumbest feature to ever be implemented into multiplayer, While it works out for the lower ping player, It doesn't work out for the higher ping players, It over compensates from my experience, It puts players ahead of you by 2/3 seconds, It takes twice has many bullets to take someone down, It makes hit detection bad.
The amount of kills i get screwed out of because of this feature is unreal.

Id actually say the overall experience of BF3 SP was better. Sound, gfx is better. Gameplay about the same. Story a little better in MW3 id say, but no really big surprises or mindfucks im afraid :/
And I was wrong about the time, I only used 6 hours to complete the game. BF3 is definitely longer.
