Ever since i got my new case, i have strange noise comming out of my headset speakers when the mic is plugged in.
You especially hear it when things are downloading (or just any increase on network usage).
Anyone know what could be the cause of it?
If you are wondering about the noise itself, it can be heard in my latest few video's if you listen closely. Thats why this is a big issue for me, it even shows up in my recordings now

maybe u have to check off mic boost or something :\ weird.
what I noticed in today's integrated sound chips is that , there's no "noise" when you plug in headphones, compare to old hardware I had (abit mobo), much like when you hook up headphones to a ps3. You don't hear a thing. Dead silent until sound initiates.
Yes, I hear it.. and I also clearly see you have "listen to this device" ticked. Please, untick it, apply, record again. I initially had the very same issue when running my PS3's audio via Line-In, but it stops whenever I untick "listen to this device" When I do need to hear the PS3, I simply keep the input volume quiet and I don't hear it above the actual audio itself.
Also, check to see if you have any enhancements enabled on that same properties dialogue.
~edit~
Arghhhh, this fucking forum freeze/slowdown is getting on my tits.

Well i personally think that it has something to do with grounding in this case.
Because when i had the same hardware, in my other case, it was just fine.
