I love windows 7 installs, they go so quick lol. I remember waiting forever for winXP to install then I'd be tired of waiting and finish the next day. Windows 7 I can't even go make dinner without it finishing and my computer yelling at me to finish what I started.

Ah well your experience has been a bit diluted since probably the Win 7 installations you do, you do on very fast systems. Like two months ago I installed a variety of VM's. Older Windhoos versions but also Tiny Core Linux. The last one was extremely fast but required a lot of learning, and in the end couldn't get a certain program to work on it. But TCL beats Windhoos by a longshot.

Back in the days using BASIC, this little program enhanced my experience of speed:

10 GOTO 10

It does nothing but the speed! (stolen joke btw)

Whacked it straight to 4.2Ghz just by upping the multi. The board takes care of the voltages with auto PLL (hovers around 1.19/1.21) and it's running gorgeously! The performance increase in gaming is, to me and my piece of crap ancient older machine, phenomenal.

Yeah; I'm REAL happy.

You could go even further with that 2500k, 4.5 GHz will do the trick .

erhm? I download .iso and something called Windows 7 USB/DVD Tool.
It seriously took 2-3 minutes to install and then reboot followed by 2 minutes and was already on desktop screen...

with dvd it would took at least 20 minutes or more ><

I most certainly plan to, just not yet. I don't need to at the moment.. every game I've tried is now locked 60-vsync with AA and absolute maximum settings. Well, except Metro.. that one is still machine rape, averaging between 40-52 on High/DX11 (V.High/DX11 cuts that to 30-40ish) Even Crysis 2 in Extreme with the DX11 patch and MaLDo's HD textures; locked 60. It's awesome.

Imagine using a Corsair Flash Voyager GT USB 3.0 32GB (135MB/s read speed) installing Win7 onto a Vertex 3 (500-550+MB/s). Very Happy
