Hi there
i have downloaded both Driver San Francisco BLACK-BOX Repack 3.2GB and Driver San Francisco Skidrow and strangely enough here is what happened i am running Windows 7 32 bit.
Skidrow's release did not even install when i press the setup.exe it pops up with installanywhere and after it finishes nothing happens.
Then i downloaded Black-Box version and installed in my E drive all went well and the game actually has run but did not have the time playing it. then when i tried to run it again to finally play it the second time nothing happens i click on driver.exe and nothing happens.
Please help me out as i never had any problems with skidrow releases but this one yes.
HELP NEEDED
thanks
Robert

I heard about this problem on one of the sites. I think it was solved by installing on c:\Driver (direct path) and by not using any sub folders.
PS: Use the technical help sub forum next time, its not like we don't check it
1 and 2 are still amazing.

First 3 or 4 hours was pure one. But just then it becomes repetative and boring, only thing that makes me continue is the dialogues and the story. Story is not that good but its well handled.

Plus always start Ubisoft games directly from exe. And I mean game's EXE (Driver.exe) not GU.exe.

Cause it reminds us what the game could've been. if we put 2011 we accept for what it really is.

just installed this.
WHERE THE FUCK IS MY 25600x1600 RESOLUTION. WHAT IS THIS 1920x1080 MAX BULLSHIT... IS THIS THE YEAR 2005?!
this has to be the laziest port ive seen in a long time
also, would have liked some brightness controls or something - partly because of the shockingly low resolution, but also thanks to the level of brightness, the main reason i wipe out is whenever theres an intersection in shadow, because i cant see shit

You don't need a new crack, game works fine with both 1.01 and 1.02 patches just by letting the autopatcher do its thing.

4. Patch 1.01
List of changes:
1. Fixed ALT+TAB feature: in some specific cases using ALT+TAB disrupt the normal game functionality.
2. Improved Online stability and performance on low end machines: rarely, in certain situations, the game becomes not stable or not synchronized during the Online sessions.
3. Improved Online stability on poor internet connection.
4. Offline mode: in some very specific gameplay choices the game becomes unresponsive. This will no longer happen.
5. Localization: several text strings now have proper translations and positions.
6. Menu/ HUD interface: fixed hint icons representation for the several localized keyboards.
7. Menus/HUD elements: added mouse sensitivity customization and a few previously missing controls.
8. Sound in the Online mode – in some specific cases sound becomes corrupted during the Online play.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Patch 1.02
List of changes:
1. Uplay reward system fixed
Found while I sorted through the updated files (readme.txt in support folder.)
(Only files updated were the exe and gdf .dll file along with some UI game asset files.)

I was one of the few that liked the game, but I uninstalled it because of all the problems it has with the controls. It seems they didn't even bother to fix those. Typical for Ubisoft.
