Recently bought this one and forgot about it
(just 1,29€)

Just wanted to try something with my asian meals... And I loved it :O

I'm sure some of you will hate me for that, but I'm a sucker for sweet alcohol Sad


*Except for this baileys knockoff that we bought with a friend. WOW one must be a heavy alcoholic to enjoy that crap Laughing *


Do I have too low standards? What should I try next?

i'm usually more of a fancy alcohol kind of guy (don't drink much these days, so i "invest" my money in quality instead of quantity Laughing ) but there ARE some good cheap wines out there. if you're up for some red wine, try the "soleil" one they have at aldi stores (1L for 1,50€ iirc), good stuff (and on the sweet side).

@baileys knockoff: was it balleycastle? that crap even tastes bad after 5 beers Laughing

oh and regarding low standards: as long as it's not in a tetra pack, it can't bee too low Wink

@bushwacka: speaking of low standards, we have this one here, a bit diluted but it's not that bad overall (Laughing ~1€)

Btw nobody can hate brown ale!
Newcastle brown ale is awesome! But then again, its not really regular beer for people outside the UK Very Happy

Brown ale is nice however newcastle brown ale really isn't that good. For beers either some nice wit beer or whatever they are called or some dark as fuck beers. Mikkeller black hole is one fucking awesome beer!

I guess the cheapest wine here is Penjasol, Cruzares and Rebenschoppen(or something). Around 2.5 euros a liter. Usually you can buy 3 or 5 liter bags with the same liter price with somewhat better quallity wine.

The absolute cheapest wine you can buy here is ~$8 (5-6 euro) for 750mL Sad

The 1,29€ is for just 0,5l.

It's surely not the cheapest you could get though Laughing Btw this wine in the op is not from grapes but from the apricot like ume plum Smile

Me too. Imho beer is disgusting but on the other hand, tequila tastes worst but I drink it with a passion. But it should be noted that I drink very rarely and if I decided too, it's because I want to get drunk. I would never drink alcohol (mainly beer) when I just want a drink (like many of my friends and family members do). I'm more into smoking herbals

cheapest wine around here is around 1 euro per bottle ~ 750cl Very Happy
on second thought though.. neah. you can get even cheaper stuff
