Very mediocore game imo, seems like a $20 product made by some vague Ukranian dev. If you really need something like this, play Gears of War.
5/10 after 3.5 hours.

I think it's already been established that it's the opposite to Gears of War in terms of gameplay.

I can be aggressive in GoW too. I don't see the difference.

You can't be aggressive in Gears, at least not when playing above easy. If you don't cower in the cover, you will die very fast. And popping out of cower to pop a few pops (aka "Pop`n`pop") is definitely not what I consider aggressive. Also, there is nothing of the sorts of health regen. On high difficulty levels in Marine you can't use the health-combos sparingly, so you have to use it with some strategy.

You're comparing the games in detail, I did not. Both are shooters meant for action, wreaking havoc and whatnot. I pointed out GoW is a better game since it does not feel like a cheap budget game like this one.

These are not details this is core gameplay. GoW is a typical console cover shooter - you are encouraged to stay in cover and regen. (it actually defined the genre - if we don't count KillSwitch). This game takes a completely different approach to gameplay - no cover, no health regen, attack to heal.

People compare this game to GearsoW because of the level design, that's it. Same kind of maps/texture/environments. Gameplay is more a mix between GodoW and DeadSpace.

I lol'd.
I see almost no similarity in this. If you were to say that environments look like Dawn of War 2 (the yellow planet, whatever the name was), then of course, but what is exactly the similarity with Gears of War? The linearity? So Crysis 2 is a Gears of War clone also?
I also lol'd at "a cheap budget game". The game has high production value in my opinion, from graphics quality to texture work to world design to soundtrack. The art department at Relic has once again captured the look of the 40K perfectly.

I see no high production value here. What are you talking about? The levels with zero variety? The four kinds of orks with the same voice? The shitty character design? The shitty story? I've set everyting on highest possible, I see no nice graphics work here. Some of the character models are plain ridiculous.
Maybe it's because I never tried this Warhammer thing, I don't know teh universe, I don't see any quality here. I really liked the RTS games, but this ones is poor imo.

I will have to agree about the non-existent variation in Ork voices. Otherwise, everything is top-notch for me.

Don't get me wrong, I get the attraction, but I just think there are games which do it much better.
Are there any interesting books etc. about this universe?

Take a pick.
The Horus Heresy is a fantastic series for the most part, a great look into the universe.
Gaunt's Ghosts is also great.
Eisenhorn trilogy.

I've installed it and played few missions and so far I like the game. It's just point and shoot, but it's fun

I was amazed at the wide range of PC-specific options in the menu. From resolutions to controls everything was there and that's a rarity these days. It even had a perfectly suitable keyboard mapping from the get-go, including mouse side buttons and whatnot. <3 Relic.
Game itself was meh, but that was to be expected.
