please answer truthfully, playing activly means you played a certain mod for considerable time NOT trying out.

also, if you vote yes, please list the mod you played

thanks Smile

Probably 50/50 overall for me since there were no mods of consequence during first years after D2 release. Never touched vanilla D2 after Median XL and especially Eastern Sun came out tho.

Mostly vanilla. Played through some mods, but we'd (I've only ever done one solo playthrough) always run into bugs and issues Smile

I know, I watched a friend playing this. (a bit stolen) Diablo2 was about you playing a lawnmower destroying everything in its path. Personally I need a bit more of diversity in a game.

Sin317, whats your agenda? You go all "HAHAHHAHA SHOEW MEE DEM MODS EM DABLO 1-2 I KNUW THEY DUN EXIST" in the D3 thread. And oops. There WHERE mods to those games.

They do exist. I never claimed that they where majority of players choice. But that just it. They existed and where a choice for people to use.
With diablo 3, it SEEMS that we will not have that choice, except for what blizzard got planned as dlc. Still my point was universal, that we are moving away from free fanmade content in favour of control and DLC sales.

I have nothing against Blizzard overall (Can you handle it??). What I dont like, is the direction PC-games are taking. Look back on the mods and custom content that have been created on this platform. Its all going to be a thing in the past, and I find that a bit sad. But thats my opinion and I don't expect someone like you to understand, because you have already shown me your true colors in the Diablo 3 thread, multiple times.

Good day sir

Squirrely: Now come on y'all. We can't waste time arguing. There could still be survivors out there. We need to hunt them down, and kill them.
Beary: How about we kill them, and then rape their bodies so we can use their blood as lubricant.
