But timechange posted tons of his modding there, so I guessed that's kinda all purpose, no?

Using a CM 690 II Advanced myself:
2500k @ 4.5 GHz (stopped there for now, 4.7 would've required a lot of extra juice to vcore) |
AsRock Z68 Pro3 |
8 GB g.skill Ripjaws-X 1333MHz DDR3 |
MSI GTX 570 TF III @ 900 MHz (more room to OC with this one as well, when gaming it doesn't ever go above 60 C even with very conservative fan profile) |
XFX Core Edition 650W
Got P6800+ in 3DMark11 - the same card went over P7300 for the previous owner, so when I have more time I'll definitely have to do some finetuning with the clocks.
Not into case modding at all, I hate even the transparent side panels some cases have. Sorting out the horrible mess with cables is enough case tampering for me. | Shouldn't you use a picture that you took yourself instead of some photo that coolermaster have on their site?
Or is there anything that you're afraid to show us?
I'll take a picture of mine... after I clean my desk.
Oh, and

I'll post fresh pics here in 3 weeks when I have my new monitor, too lazy to post some fresh pics.
You can find some older pics of my Phantom here: http://www.nfohump.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1340083#1340083
I've since made tons of changes. Out with some mechanical drives, in with some SSDs. Out with the 460, in with the 6950. Part of my cabling changed to white, which looks just fucking amazing. Couple more pics in the spoiler.
Spoiler: | |
At the moment I've grabbed a few old PSUs and I'm sleeving them, putting connectors in exactly the right places etcetera, to neaten up the cabling further. I'm gonna take the whole white/black/red contrast theme further, because I think it looks fantastic. Some of the cables I have right now aren't long enough to route the way I want them to, others are too long to do so, which is why I'm doing some of my own now

Too lazy to do that atm, I'll do that later
Only temporary anyway, I'll make better pics in a few weeks when I rearrange everything, I'll need to make proper photos anyway so I'll use a better camera

Thanks! I just wish I had the patience to resleeve all of the cables. Werelds' pc looks amazing.

Resleeving is very easy to do actually. I don't know where you're from exactly (was it the US?), but here in NL we've got one absolutely brilliant shop who sell just about everything I'd ever need for my modding urges
www.highflow.nl
They also sponsor a lot of the bigger builds, you've all seen L3p's desk by now right (the guy who built his entire PC into a glass-top desk, with water cooling running under his floor)?
The thing I'm fiddling with now is working out the cable lengths, reattaching connectors and such. Not fucking with my X-650's own cables though, that'd be a waste
The sleeving itself is a piece of cake. And in some cases, you can just as easily get pre-done stuff, NZXT have some good ones (the white SATA cables you see are NZXT). Should really get some watercooling in there, with either white or red tubes (TC has them white now I think), but I fuck around with my PC too much, would be so annoying to constantly have to drain it.

Funny that you say that. I'm actually going to buy 2 more P2770FH's once I get my property taxes and homeowner's insurance paid (or rather, save enough money to pay them).
I need to post some pics of my media server as well (it's basically my old Q6700X build with more memory and both of my old GTX295's). Maybe, once I pull the system out to change some of the water-cooling components, I'll snap some good pics and post them here. But, being the lazy American that I am, I can't see this happening any time soon...

I actually do fold almost constantly, but I'm not too interested in bitcoin. I make enough money with what CAD and video post-processing I do to pay for the extra power. And I just recently put solar panels on my house (thank my wonderful government for that tax break that paid for over half!). I'm not carbon neutral yet, nor will I ever be, but I do what I can to offset my expenditures.

Just bought Antec h20 620 cooler, had Silver Arrow previously which was so monstrous (blocked top 1x slot). Temps are even better with this -.- Maybe this is much more optimal to this case.

I've been tempted by the H80/H100 for a while now, but I know they most likely won't beat my Frio
