"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

First movie was a giant piece of shit. The concept itself was scarier and more gross than the execution, making everybody think it was supposedly the sickest film ever. Then they watched it and realised it was just a badly made, bog-standard horror movie without any scares.

The same thing will happen with this film: People will think "Oh shit, it's been banned in the UK, it must be fucking extreme", but the reason it was banned was not solely the acts depicted, it was because the film has no artistic merit. There is no analogy behnd the sadistic acts on screen, it's just gore made for complete braindead morons.

If they banned movies based on that criteria, over half of all Hollywood movies would be banned.
