Uh no, it's not the very definition of RPG. It had RPG elements, as does countless games( many strategy games included), but the primary focus was FPS/stealth gameplay. The NPC interactions were few and far between, and there were no real social skills. Like Stalker, Strife, SS2 and many other games before and after, stats/upgrades/inventory do not an RPG make. They simply add depth to what's usually a pretty banal FPS experience.

That's not today's/yesterday's patch. patch0 was part of the preload, days ago.

I can't comment on the shooting mechanics in the leak and if they are improverd, since I didn't use any guns then, but it feels very good here. Of course you have to take cover and choose your targets carefully. That's what makes it great, you can't just run in and kill everything that moves.
