It's easy making huge dungeons when it's all random block positioning.

This was already mentioned months ago, around the time of the reveal.
Of course, that doesn't change the fact that it's an awkward and silly mechanism.

You prefer characters falling unconscious after being chopped at for few minutes? Stop nitpicking

Agreed that's nitpicking. I like the idea of NPC deaths not ruining their quests.

Don't like such a decision much... |
Yeah, that's pretty retarded... there should surely be some sort of repercussion for killing (quest) NPCs in a RPG?

If you kill a NPC you should live with the consequences IMHO.

I played Morrowind like i played Daggerfall, the "Dungeon explorer" way...until i got in that stupid cave where you are supposed to get that Illness for the Mainquests (without actually having that quest). After clearing that place i couldnt trigger that event anymore and the questline broke, leaving me with hours of wasted playtime and a sadface.
Hate that game since then

Good point. I guess it depends on the quest and the NPC, also. If the NPC has relatives or friends that makes more sense to let them pick up the quest from there.

For full realism the guy that is blind on one eye should get -5 perception.

And the fully blind redguard would play with a permanently black screen?
