Reload the game, sometimes there's a bug in the menu.

SO do I let it update with the skidrow release or no?
I tried the skidrow crack and offline on top of my old cracked version and just got the ok dialogue box as mentioned.
So now Im downloading the skidrow release
I want it to work offline
Is the 0 day patch important, or does skidrow already have it?

Dunno, I blocked the launcher in the firewall just in case. Game works now after a couple restarts.

Tried every combination with the SR release it just doesn't work for me. And no I didn't do anything wrong  I am afraid you'll be as unlucky as me.

You are right. Tried to let it patch first and then I had to deal with Norton and a false positive suspicious activity on from_dust.exe, Finally got that fixed and then I got the little empty box again
Gonna try one more time without the patch and see if skidrow works then
Maybe theyl lrelease an update soon.
Otherwise its back to that UBIDRM 1.0 crack that actually worked.

@consolitis: it's the same for me, the P2P crack works just fine while the SR release + offline "fix" doesn't even start

First release from the one that lists files was working. the P2P one. Started up the game but it honestly sucks, it was ported like shit.

Played a few levels. As expected, the terraforming engine is impressive and novel but the game as such is pretty boring.

No go on the Skidrow release in any possible iteration of patching or not patching, offline fix or no.
None of them work for me
Reinstalled the cloneDVD and the ubi drm crack 1.0 works fine again
I just wish I could get the skidrow to work as I am questioning whether this connects to ubi or not.
Its even showing the news and twitter feed on the login screen now.
As for the game, Its not much of a GOD game but I am liking it anyway despite the horrible controls and poor port.
It runs well enough to be very playable
Its a bit depressing to think of what it COULD have been.
Maybe somebody will make a real god game with this type of elemental physics and do it right

I have this before too - i just reinstalled game and normal ubilauncher(maybe some conflict with this crack before)

1. Unpack the release
2. Mount or burn image
3. Install
4. Start the game from desktop icon and allow automatic patch
5. In the end, when prompted for registration, close the program
6. Copy everything from the SKiDROW fix folder into the main installation folder of the game
7. Copy everything from the Orbit folder from the SKiDROW fix folder into the main installation folder of the game and in c:\Program files\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\
8. Play the game from desktop icon
Works fine in XP SP3

I beg to differ. It looks repetitive since it's all the same objective in every level. But some of the levels do present a challenge and you have to wisely use your breath abilities (the terraforming engine is nicely realized) to win.

Any1 had problem with automatic update and solved the problem? I already tried reinstalling game and launcher, deleting hosts file, don't know if there's anything else i could try...

This fixed it!
Lost my old save but now it works without the online check
I wish skidrow had set up the fix better, I think it was just the orbit folder stuff being in main install directory and not in the orbit folder.
So whatever call was supposed to look in the orbit folder to find something wasn't working
But why was it working for some people without emptying the orbit folder

For me the sr release works fine, when u get a prompt for serial just cancel and ure in, but I get a bod in tidal wave mission, every time.

I have to agree here. I thought it was boring and shallow at first too, but the 9th mission changed my mind (the one where you have to reroute the lava flow). Took me a couple tries to figure out what to do, and then I nearly fucked it up in the end because the landscape is constantly changing due to the interaction of lava and water and new problems arise if you mess around too long. Now I'm looking forward to the challenge levels.
