So this is a documentary made by muslims for muslims ergo unbiased? What kind of moronic reasoning is that? I understand it's not vilifying muslims directly, but it does leave room for such a conclusion. I won't even bother discussing, since according to you we're a bunch of retards unable to understand what we watch.
You are either with us, or against us
You can't even see how this documentary pulls a one sided light on everything and is very selective in what it is displaying...
Here is a VERY basic example why this "documentary" is populistic bullcrap:
First, they just show a loud guy screaming around (in a hateful voice). It is not shown WHY he talks like that. Before that they show some spooky muslims and than this imagery.. It's clearly visible what this scene should portray. After that a black guy tells that politics do nothing for the youth and then the narrator goes on with saying, that young muslims burnt parts of paris. As if only young muslim youth was responsible for that.
Same mind that goes on and says that just black people were responsible for the riots in england.
And a second later it says that those youth was consuming drugs and alcohol, things that the brotherhood would obviously not tolerate, but what they do here is put hopeless (and stupid) young people together with a radical extermist organization.
There is no line drawn here frant, stop fooling yourself and stop trying to fool other people. Just look at the comments and see what the people talk when they see this. They don't say. Oh evil islamists... They say "Why haven't they been deported yet?", "I will stab a muslim in the neck" and so on...
So you're doing the silly guilt-by-association argument? That's like me blaming you for 9/11. I could draw parallels to the hateful comments on Rebecca Blacks Friday-video @ Youtube and ask you if the same goes there.
Are you an islamist Pumpy? Do you support the Muslim Brotherhood partly or fully? No? Then why are you so damn defensive? In what way is that documentary negative? It promotes non-political Islam. Is that wrong? Seriously?
I seriously wonder what eyes you used when you watched that documentary. Was it an unbiased watch, or did you watch it from the outset of it being anti-muslim and since it was posted by me it was islamophobic, and you're trying to formulate criticism? And what do you do? You pick totally irrelevant and stupid hateful youtube comments and you pick a scene from the documentary showing the Paris riots where the documentary explains how the Muslim Brotherhood takes advantage of the lower social classes (like the people in the Paris riots) to recruit members and gain support. I am fairly sure you completely missed the point of that segment. As did the rest.
EVERYBODY takes advantage of the lower social classes. Especially the churches, the terrorists, the hooligans and the nazis. Why single out one of the groups? People need to be stupid so they ll be able to hate better and have nothing to lose to be perfect recruits into any hate-group.
And i d like to re-iterate pumpy's point here. The whole argument of "but it is anti-islamist" is hogwash, because it is set up to instigate fear and hate for a certain group (see above argument "singling out only one group"). And certainly islamism is bad. But all forms of black-and-white hate-filled ideology-driven movement is bad (all religions, a lot of political movements (read mainly nazis), cultural conservatism). Why do we only see posts and videos against one group all the time? Because people love to hate the outsiders and oddballs and never care to look for solutions to making this world a place to actually be worth living in, for and by.

Sorry Lutzifer, I usually respect your views, but this is just FUD. If it had been about anti-nazism or anti-fascism you would have joined in, but now it's anti-islamism and suddenly you reach that territory of "taboo" where you without knowing it reinterpret what has been written and shown and turn it into something it is not.
This thread and documentary is about ISLAMISM, how it affects MUSLIMS negatively as well as other groups. It's so bloody symptomatic to see people like you and others that are usually intelligent and clear minded go so far into this state where you automatically pull out assumptions out of your assholes.

So putting the spotlight on a kind of fascism is "hogwash"? When is it okay to discuss and debate islamism? Because ANY word with "islam" in it seems to turn everyone into ignorant defenders of something they don't even know what it is.
Bunch of hypocrites the lot of you it seems. If you TRULY believe I posted this to bash the muslims, then you and the other people making those assumptions aren't as intelligent and open as I thought.
Frant apart from Islamaphobe ( something for which I got a ban for ) the other word I am looking for is hypocrite. Seriously though I really do think your a little troll and this is the pupose of your post.
Apart from that I do agree that muslims need an eye kept on them and they also need to stop some of these ultra religous muslims from trying to install sharia law and muslim only areas, plus super mosques ( also the same with these super church's ) they need to kick political correctness in the bollocks.
Call me a troll if you like. I'm 100% sincere with this thread and my posts.
Since you posted your message to Lutzifer (but clicked on MY PM-button trying to get me banned??? ) I can tell you why you got banned while I haven't been banned (yet): you're a typical low-brow muslim-basher, generalising high and low. You don't know the difference between muslims and islamists, you treat muslims the same way you treat immigrants in some of your earlier posts.

You are a troll frant, pure and simple, and a damned hypocrite.
BTW I honestly have muslim friends and black friends, and I dont hide my feelings from them, they value my honesty and we do have discussions without coming to blows, but you my little troll, well your something else.
you was meant to get that message, unlike some slimely maggots on here I dont hide anything.
I say want I want to say and balls to anyone who doesnt like me for it, its freedom of speech after all. its people who hide behind a lie who should be ashamed, not me.
you may have a point there frant about the assumptions, because i actually do have a narrow view on topics like yours here. I expect to see one-sided views and a shitstorm of hate-posts. It s the internet that taught me to be like this. My experience => Usually the people who try to walk the line with "fine" distinctions like "its not anti-islam, its anti-islamism" / "its not against the jews, its against the israel government" / "i m not racist, but..." / ", are nazis or other kinds of haters who try to get away with propagating their hate-message.
I have yet to see the documentary actually, so all i m saying is even more conjecture (but i made it clear in my first post, that i havent seen it yet), so yes, you have a point. And i m not unwilling to discuss the bad sides of islamism / muslim terrorism. It is just, that i cant stand to hear it anymore, when it already starts out with the typical up-front-caveats like yours (first post, first sentence), that just reads to me like "i m not racist, but..."
also, as much as one should ask "why always the jews", one should also ask "why always the muslims nowadays?"
or rather one SHOULD acutally be talking about why the inequality, why the fascist religious middle east states (or all the other fascist regimes on the planet like the u.s.a. ), why the looting, why the pollution and why the hate?
^ranty, not spellchecked, not concise, hope i made my point clear, may edit^

Well, the fact that you copied that PM to me = kudos to you.
If I had been a hypocrite and followed the least resistance I wouldn't post threads like these. I know they're unpopular and will most likely discredit me. But then I realise that it doesn't matter since the topic is more important than being worried about sheep running through the program that executes when islam is mentioned.
I guess one of my bigger flaws is that I somehow believe I may be able to punch through that mud and get an honest debate going. So far it hasn't gone that well. But I try.

Please watch the documentary Lutz. See if you find it as horrible and anti-muslim as you think you will.
I dont hate Islam I dont like relgion at all, when one become moderate another extreme one replaces it, same shit different name.
PEople go on about Islam but the truth is there just as many mental Christains, I mean for fucks sake, the catholics hid pedos from public view as not to tar the church.
and waht about those creepy evangelical churches.
If there is a god, he must be real pissed to see the morons spreading his name.
Seriously though I really do think your a little troll and this is the pupose of your post.
It is certainly not trolling.
I watched like 3 minutes of the documentary and I will watch more when I get back home. I just want to say that I dont see the threat as big as it seems to be made to be. Seriously them saying that they will use our democracy against us and that we are unaware of their real power on society seems like a normal hyperbole threat to me. They (the islamists) want us to fear them, they want us to believe they are actually really powerful and whatnot. The extreme right has had a similar speech in Germany for decades. Still the extreme right is very marginal, politically.
What concerns me more is how we react to this. How are we going to distinguish between the normal muslims and the islamist extremists. By creating this nebula of mystery in that distinguishment arent we creating an athmoshere of suspicion in our society? And by that wont we drive normal Muslims into the hands of the extremists? Fear is going to play into the hands of the extreme right on our side and of course into the hands of the islamists on the other side.
I wont say the documentary is wrong because I havent seen it. But I still think that it is very important to keep a clear head about muslims and not become suspicious about anyone wearing a scarf. And I dont believe they are as powerful as they claim to be. It is normal for this narcissitic movement to claim they are allmighty, especially if they want to recruit and they have god on their side.
