snow is nothing knew to most of you lot im sure, but two things
1: ive NEVER seen snow before. yes yes, deprived childhood and what not, blah blah..
2: it does NOT SNOW HERE. sometimes a bit of hale buildup, and we've had some pretty nasty frost once or twice, but NOT SNOW. not here. not where i live. where the fuck is this global warming shit ive been hearing about? 
shit, what an experience. ive never felt snow before, its a completely new thing for me. beaned a kid in the head with a snowball.
took pictures, no idea if they turned out ok... i dont have a flash, and its like 6pm here so they might be a bit dark. tried my best to overexpose the images, so we'll see how they turn out.
fucking wow
oh and cartoon, when you get back from taking pictures - pretty sure you are right at this moment - post em here. would love to see welly in the snow.

consequentally, my hjands are ucking freezing... i dont have gloves... who the fuck needs gloves in mild-as-fuyck new zealand?

lights are flickering a little every now and then, so it wouldnt surprise me if we have a powercut.

It is the middle of winter down under atm, right? And I kinda thought that you had mountains with snow on them

i'm happy for you chiv. 
i bet most of the ppl down there are afraid of going out with their cars cuz of the snow and frost and stay locked in their houses. 
at least that's what happens in Crete, Greece. - another place that doesn't see snow so often.

I woke up to +3c 2 days ago.. Not any snow, but only 3c degrees in summer..
And I didnt turn on the cab heater in my truck, since temp was 23 when I went to bed...
Norway, fuck yeah..

just for a bit of context... a week or so ago, it was "really cold" here, and i was ASTONISHED at all that SNOW i could see on the horizon!!
so looking out the window to see this, was just totally surreal...
and yes.. the cat was dragged out to enjoy the fun  picture quality is crap because it was really dark in those areas

yeah we do have snow in certain spots in NZ, but the thing is, the city where i live doesnt get snow which is why this is so bizarre... the weather is usually quite mild ALL year round here...

I still remember when my cat went outside and saw the snow for the first time, she stared at the "panorama" for some seconds and then went back inside the house, sitting near the the bonfire with her typical *no fuck given* attitude |
