Some ppl here share your thoughts , and they say that's exactly what happened with Kosovo..
But there are ppl on the both sides that don't agree with this , like myself ... it can be peaceful most ppl want only that..but sometimes wrong politicians in the goverment makes it more worse and send different picture..in this case is very complex but their goverment made some serious mistakes.
We also have extremists here , and they often send wrong picture to the world but it's very difficult to fight them..just like terrorism u simply don't know when and where's gonna happen for the most part.

Cambridge is one of the richest areas in the entire UK. One of the few nice areas left. In fact Cambridge doesnt represent the UK at all imo. |

Ignorant? Not really - it's just that your political views arent really affecting my life in any way or will ever do so. So why would I listen to them? Im not checking this threads to get politically enlightened. This thread was never really that big deal to me - however, I do belive its abit entertaining to see a mod doing what others usually get banned for.
If I want to discuss politics I would either meet the person face to face or go to a forum thats all about politics and not a gaming forum. It's as easy as that.
Edit: Nice to see btw how much whining You do just cos somebody tells you that you went over the edge with your comment btw. Hurt much?

You see this is the problem, the type of people your talking about are the type of people that if you stood up in a room and made a speech about instutionlised racism the round of aplause you would get would deafen you, you would see them with tears in their eyes clappping as loud as they can and as hard as they can.
But make a speech a speack about problems with over immigration or trying to curb it, they call you bigot, racist, hater and want you sacked from your job, and you and your family on the streets starving.
These people think they are doing good, but they are the very people who are creating more hate, they are so fucking stupid they can't see the damage they are doing to both Europeans and to law abiding, assumlating immgrants.

Also, since you are supposed to be a mod - you really should set a good example by trying to act more correct and be neutral. Else I think your the wrong person for having that position.
A good mod ignore his personal feelings/anger and atleast TRY to make posts that sets an example on how things are done. He should act the same towards everyone no matter how good friends or high status they got on the board.
Then again, thats how I see it and this is after all a piracy board. So I guess I had too high thoughts about on how it should be run.
Edit: Another example...say we found out somebody on the board is gay. Would you compare him with John Wayne Gacy? After all, he was into the same sex aswell.

I think the problem is being created by the press in my honest oppinion. I know a few muslims and in perticular one of them has been my friend for many years, I do not hide my political views from him and we often have some good discussions about Islam, immigration and video games.
I have known muslims who are gay, alcoholics or gamblers, not muslims?, how many Christians do you know who can honestly say they are perfect Christians?.
The muslims who are causing problems are a minority of muslims who need to be arrested, imprisoned and deported, so that we can all get some peace.

The majority of people I know live by christian standards (since thats what sweden is built upon) but very few of them belive in any gods or call themself christians. But the muslims I know do call themself muslims and they do belive in their god.
However, these are just the ones I know ofc.

and I agree that it is a minority of the muslims but in Afghanistan the Taliban is a minority of the population to and still they have ruled that country for years. thats why islam is so dangerous the minority violent people always dictate how things should be and has taken power in a lot of countries. in Iran to its a minority that wants that regime still that violent regime is there in power.

Yes the press are a problem, they sensationalise amy story, if they could they would tell you the muslims were invading us and trying to eat our children if they thought they could get away with it and sell papers.
As for afghanistan, I dont think you understand the situation, the Taliban are not a minority, they are made up of foriegners and tribes from afghanistan, they have an almost unlimited supply of soliders from all around the world, as for the people in afghanistian they are made up of smaller tribes and often they just do what they are told, the difference is we do it with the promist of helping them and the taliban do it at gun point.
As for the taliban they also have a mortal enemy, the northern alliance, who are also muslims.
You also forget to mention non muslims violent regimes such as north Korea, or Zimbabwea.
I find it weird sticking up for Islam as I hate religion in all its forms, but you cant push everything on Islam.

There's one big difference. No group like the Taliban will be able to rise to power here like they have there - which is by force. These groups got their power at times when there was little else and it was easy for them to overpower the others with violence. Once in control, it's hard to take it away from them.
No, the only way to do it over here is by politics and considering how xenophobic the average European is these days, you'll never see an Islamic political party rise to power. Instead, we get groups like Wilders, who are no better. Anyone who considers "Islam" (I'm putting it in quotes, because what you and others really mean are the extremists) and then votes for Wilders or endorses his views, is a hypocritical piece of shit. All this bullshit about "Islam" being a violence-endorsing religion is violence-endorsing in itself. I can't take anyone who makes claims like that seriously - and on top of that he has the most untrustworthy face in politics I have seen in my life. His trial was a joke, because if I said what I think about him and his party in public I'd definitely not get off like that.
Pim Fortuyn was even worse, he claimed Christians have more rights because of that; how the fuck is Islam more "violence-endorsing" than Christianity - or any (non-)religion for that matter (atheists are getting just as annoying)? Not paid attention during history classes?
No, sorry, dragging the Taliban into this for comparison is bullshit. Might as well drag all the shit happening in Africa in, or perhaps the shit in South America..oh hell, while we're at it, let's drag the Koreas, Nepal and China in as well.

They usually don't take over parts of a city with religious laws (sharia) that will be enforced onto the population with sharia-police. They're usually not run by a strong hate preaching islamist leader (Anjem Choudary). In fact, no group has done anything like this in Europe since the nazis before WW2. If you had read up on Anjem Choudary, the organisations he's connected with and what the plans are you wouldn't take it so lightly.
Stickers is one thing, it's the rest that is disturbing.
What I can see is that every side is becoming more extreme, stronger and more vocal about their goals. Far-right activists (EDL, BNP and other groups) are growing, Far-left/syndicalists are becoming more aggressive in their ways, and islamists now set in motion things that will keep this ever-strengthening circle of evil grow stronger every week.
So the "sharia-zones" will make other opposed groups more extreme as well. It's the total opposite of what Europe needs. We need stronger secularity, stronger dealings with the extremes etc... We need to defuse the mounting problems before it's too late.
