Wall Street and certain municipal governments drag the average waaaaaaaaaay down. There are certain cities where everyone knows they're more rotten than Albania, and no one does anything.

There's no need to explain..just think at all the active criminal organizations such as Mafia, Camorra, Ndrangheta; add that half of the parliament has been accused of corruption and you'll have the image of the critical situation Laughing

Sweden

They're the top-5 of most uncorrupted countries in the world.

Corrupt in the way that you do not agree with what is written, or corrupt in the way that they're being used for political purposes you do not agree with?

Yes, yes I'm back.
Somewhat.

How the fuck do we rate 1 on that scale?

Every single Dane is corrupt or potentially corrupt. Even I am slightly corrupt, and I don't even care in the least about the advantages it brings. I'm just too lazy not to be.

You don't need to know every single individual in the world to understand human nature.

Human nature is the same whereever you go, it's just subjected to a variety of circumstances.

Our nature is corruption, because a system of government can't be tailored for any single individual. Essentially, corruption is the natural response until we find a system that's perfect.

Basically, it's not obeying the laws imposed by the system of government, and not reporting such behavior - for purposes of personal gain.

Communism as a theory is pretty much based on certain types of corruption.
