I would agree with you if i hadn't been working a hiphop related documentary and learned a thing or two about the culture. You obviously haven't. If anything, elitists culture should die. Life is meant to be explored, not kept in a small box layered in cashmere.

No. I interviewed tons of people and watched them perform and understood the music and the roots of the music. It has a very vivid history. Also, how it learns from every genre out there and uses it to develop its sound and evolve is far more impressive than licking lollipops.

Well, first off that can be said about alot of music genres so I don't see as why eliminating one genre would make things so much better. And further more it's quite obvious that you don't know much about it or even how it originated because there is so much more about hip hop than what you just described.

Well, because for starters it isn't music, it is the reciting of poetry (bad poetry) with a repetitive background tune.
