I think, open carrying is better than concealed carrying. That way you know, that folks are with guns. If citizens are allowed to buy guns, open carrying should be the only legal way to carry them.

the law is there to let them but that dont mean its really a great thing to do with the majority im sure of the public as the cops said being not at ease with doing so and dont themselves..
guns off the street is the only way...!!, there was no need for him to be carrying it just to walk a block down the road to pick up his car from his wifes work? seriously if he needed the rifle why carry it openly? why not case it up is a soft gun case?
or how about this, pick up ur fucking car first then go pick up ur gun and put it in the boot ( trunk ) lol..
seriously he was just out to mess with peoples heads.. his whole way of coming across screamed retard with no care, he even said he didnt care about what others thought as far as I could tell, if thats that case and his attitude is like that I to as the officer would be concerned with his actions and being a "uncaring" individual wandering streets with a automatic rifle.
couple of hoodlums jump his ass while his "hands are not on the gun mr officer" and there is a fully working ak47 knocking about his street in the hands of maybe a even more not so caring group of people..

The law can't be there for people to have a right to carry a gun to the local store or for when they are just going about their daily business.. Surely the only reasons the law exists is so you can take your gun somewhere to hunt or somewhere where you can just let of a few rounds?
You don't need a gun for just walking down the street.
