Most modern browsers (Firefox or Chrome) have a Private browsing mode which does not record anything of your browsing activity.

yes, if you re using torrents, grab the torrent files via https connections from private torrent sites and force ssl on your torrent. Also, use peerblock and follow these reasonable suggestions:

- never download shitty popular music that was just commercially released, they ll be after you like the proverbial devil after the soul

- try not to download movies / games in your own language, because it makes it much harder for law-enforcement to go after stuff a country has no copyright claims over (or try to go after people in other countries that stole your shit), i.e. if you re german, steal english shit!

- dont download microsoft stuff

I think thats about it

They're breaking in your PC, snatching you users up.

Hide your torrents

I just close the lid of my Macbook and sneak off really quietly. No one'll know I'm downloading.

hahahahahahahahahaha

no.

I only pointed out to stay away from MS products, because - at least for a while - they made a lot of effort to crack down on internet-distribution of their warez, making downloading somewhat risky.
