My home was damaged in the tornado that struck Joplin, Mo USA May 22, 2011. I am going to post images of my home as we rebuild it. I am very limited on $ as my insurance only covered the mortgage and personal contents. So after the mortgage is payed off and plus my personal contents money I only come out with about 50K. Now I have been married with kids for 18 years. We lost all of our stuff. Beds, furniture, appliances, clothes, ect. So I have to completely rebuild my home and get all the other crap that goes with it for 50k. So here are the pics.

heres the front of my house the day after

here is a pic after all the trees have been removed

here is a pic of my 13yr old son standing next to one of the root balls. He is about 5ft tall.

My home needs major repairs.
Foundation needs repair gonna cost $5300
Roof need replaced
sub floor needs replaced as it was water damaged
all the walls need replaced
siding needs replaced
new windows
and on and on it goes
All the work with tree and debris removal has been all volunteer work and they have done a great job. now the rest is on me and everyone who is going to help me rebuild.

I will post more pics and rants as I go along.

Hmmm that sucks Sad

Good luck with your improvements and financial plannings. I know how it feels to loose everything and especially with kids it can be a hard time.

Empty again Sad

Stay strong man and good luck. 50K are nothing... but at least you have your family with you, which is the most important thing.

So I guess your home needs to be replaced completely, the only thing you have left is the ground. How about your job? Can you still exercise it and get money? If not, you better try to find employment elsewhere. Sorry I wish I could do something but I can't.

NO.
There's nothing you can do that removes 100% of the mold.
You can prevent it though but obviously not protect against shit like edweird13 had.

Looks like you've done most of the hard stuff already. Tearing stuff out, putting down new plywood floors, etc. I did the roof at my house about 4 years ago, the hardest part was getting the packs of shingle's up to the roof itself..lol. After that it's just long and tedious, but possible. If the plywood on top isn't rotted or anything, you can leave it, esp if you can get it dried out, etc. Also, (and i'm sure you're probably doing this) but i'd mix a bleach/water solution and spray it on all your exposed wood to kill as much of the mold as you can. And when you go to re-insulate, use spray foam if you can. It will seal the mold into the wall and prevent air leaks, which will help prevent the spores from spreading. Good luck and if i were closer to you, i'd lend a hand for a few days:)

I guess it's a matter of pride and principle at this point. Sony went with bluray whereas Microsoft went with HD-DVD and the latter failed.

No reason not too as long as you are fully aware that there is a slim chance that you will be banned for it. Chance is very low as i haven't heard of any bans the last years, but who knows what will happen in the future.

Nope.. Microsoft only bans consoles, so you can safely have 1 flashed and 1 legit.

But it's best to just use a flashed til it's banned instead of wasting money on 2 consoles. Be sure that the game images are safe with abgx360 before you burn them and you should be fine.
