I'm not affected by any of the attacks ( so far, that is  ).
That doesn't mean I'm going to say lulz who cares I don't have a PS3  I don't have a BF Heroes account I don't have a pron.com account etc etc.
The only difference it would make if I was affected is that I would be in 100% rage mode, while now I'm at 50%

I had actually created a BF:Heroes beta account god knows how long ago, so I checked the file in the morning. I was on the list...
Problem though, is that I don't even remember the password I used (they are hashed). It's probably one of the older and simpler ones, which I don't use on anything important. I changed my EA account password none the less, to be sure.

A hacker attacked TWC a little while ago and obtained a copy of our password database. We do not believe that he intends to publish it publicly or otherwise abuse it, but members should be aware that their passwords might have been compromised.
If you use the same password on TWC and an important site, like your e-mail or Amazon or a bank account, immediately change the password on the other site. Never use the same password on a casual, unsecured site like TWC and a site that stores important information like credit card numbers. Sites like TWC are much easier to hack, and hackers often try to reuse account info to take over accounts on banks or e-commerce sites so they can steal money. If you use different passwords, attackers who hack TWC will only be able to take over your TWC account, which is unprofitable and therefore unlikely.
We do not believe members (other than admins) need to change their passwords on TWC itself, since the risk of attack is low and we can restore compromised accounts to their rightful owners after the fact.
We apologize for the security breach, and will try to take steps to prevent such incidents in the future.

Hm..
Upon a reviewing of the available information it looks like there's only 1 infected file? A pirated version of winrar, that might or might not be infected (could be a false alarm due to its packing?) and that might or might not have been done on purpose by them (they might have found it that way).

Reading through all this stuff makes me soo sad.
I should've never stopped hacking for fxp groups, it was really fun.
We were one of the best, owned TheDragon. Anyone remember that board?
Fuck, that was over 6 years ago. Bah! I havent hacked in ages, don't know shit anymore.
I'm worse than the lowest script-kiddie now...
I kept detailed logs with passes etc. for all the hacks, they easily went into the thousands. Just rediscovered them. Oh the nostalgia. Even toyed with the nasa and the army a bit..
I infiltrated the whole fucking CERN network back then via their public site, got r00t, then used the metasploit framework to penetrate the intranet and dozens of windows servers, disabled certain ports in their firewalls and installed VNCviewer then watched some experiments with electrons!
Damn I didn't even use a proxy and they never got me. Security was a joke back then.
Hey, I still got some of their passwords, do they still work?
