Tropa de Elite 2 - 7/10 - it was a good movie and many people probably think I'm rating it way too low, but I compare it to the first movie. This one does not even come close to the original. It's a simple complot theory, political movie now. The uniqueness and rawness of the original is totally gone. BOPE was what made the first movie pure awesome, BOPE isn't even relevant here. It's only used as muscle by Nascimento when shit hits the fan. The ending also made zero sense. So all the politicians go down only based on Nascimento's word? Zero evidence? WTF is that about?
Unknown - 4/10 - uninspired, boring, useless. I'm sure something awesome happens in the end, but I stopped after an hour.

Dylan Dog: Dead of Night 3/10
Ffs, a prime example of how NOT to make a movie based on an existing character. It had NONE of the style, direction or story from Dylan Dog, it was just a stupid private investigator vs monster-movie. Stupid, boring, cheap, fake. If you want a taste of Dylan Dog, stick with Dellamorte Dellamore (aka Cemetary Man).
The Adjustment Bureau 6/10
Not overly impressed. It was ok, somewhat slow, and derivative of so many movies before it. Lacked depth.

the one 7/10
yeah i know all you snooty stuck up snobs wouldnt look twice at it, but ive always really liked the film. yeah, when you look at the movie on individual merits (acting, effects, story) its easy to pick apart, but as a whole its a really fun film, and one of the rare examples of a movie that doesnt outstay its welcome... its just as long as it needs to be, fun all the way through with some cool action and actors just having fun with it. yeah the story doesnt make even the slightest bit of sense, but thankfully the filmmakers realize it and just say 'fuck it' and have fun with it without trying to cram it down the viewers throat.
yeah. fun flick, i love it. wish theyd bring it out on bluray.

Dylan Dog - 4/10 I read maybe dozens of Dylan Dog comics years ago, and this movie just didn't do it... I was seriously thinking of stopping watching somewhere in the middle...
Sucker Punch - this one s a bit hard to rate. The graphics, the fighting and scenery was really awesome (plus hot chicks ), the story is a sad one but it tried to convey a message that we are the masters of our life, I didn't really like all those 'philosophical' questions that are supposed to make you think, because the movie itself is rather... strange.
But I liked it overall so a solid 7.5/10

Completely agree, the first movie was a lot stronger.

Limitless - 6/10. I thought this will be a better movie. Bradley Cooper made this 6/10 for me - if he wouldn't play here I would give just 5/10.

Well the idea behind it has so much serious flaws that you can safely say that it was just an excuse for an action movie. So how can this excuse be good but the movie trashy?
The execution and budget fitted nicely:) Except for a good marketing campaign. This was just a summer action movie nothing more, nothing less

nope the duck is right. the concept - or atleast how it was used/explained, ESPECIALLY the ending (the 'good' jet li ending i mean) was pretty silly.
but it was a fun as hell movie. i never felt bored or looked at my watch. it had a great balance of action and 'talky shit', and was the perfect runtime. and as i said, GIMME 1080
oh yeah. coolest teleportation effect evaarr.
