The fuck? Steam has so many different games (including lots of unpopular and dumb ones) in varied genres and their argument about not letting it be on their platform is so devoid of any rational thinking and logic.
I think Daedalic isn't being completely honest...

Got it from the UK to Israel in 3 days! Wow!
Ordered it on friday got it now today monday.
If anyone want maybe i can make some clone or copy of it and upload it to somewhere i dont know how to do it and if it will be any help but i can do it.

Now im installing the game so far it didnt ask for any serial or activation and i didnt find any serial or something say the game need activation of any kind in the papers the game come with.
In few minutes the installation will end and ill tell you more.

There is a Russian/German release of the game, which came out in March
afaik, there are no protection

Valve not willing to put the game up on Steam is pretty weird and seems hard to believe. Can they even refuse to put the game on sale on the basis of it not being popular enough? This just doesn't make any sense, it's not like they are losing something over it.

Are there any full adventure games on Steam even?
(They have refused some other titles from what I know, perhaps they don't see it worth to invest in as the return/profit isn't as expected due to it being a smaller genre?)
EDIT: Ah right there are a few of them come to think of it.

I thought it was just the same publisher, I'll re-check it then.
EDIT: That was quick, you're right.
EDIT: Maybe there's something else then, Whispered World is a good game and in similar style as you say (Though I've never completed it since it's highly unstable for me, thought it was related to the crack so I switched back to the original exe and used a activation but it remained.)
(Unless Whispered World was OK'ed first but then caused a loss due to poor sales or something thus causing Steam to reject this offer unless there's more to it still, was this fully localized or is it that game which used German VO's but subtitled the rest, could be why in that case or it might have been some other game I'm thinking about.)
