Just tried to log in Fileden, got a warning about a missing plugin, I checked the list, firefox said no plugin was found, I pressed finish and after logging in with my fileden account Firefox shit bricks. It got closed and I got the standard fake antivirus malware, blocking all processes asking me to buy it to clean my PC.
I restarted in safe mode, disabled the autostarting of defender.exe and deleted the files, now I'm clean again.
Why the fuck did Firefox get pwnt so badly ? Latest version 4.0.1 ... I didn't really install anything or do anything stupid, this shit just arbitrarily ran on my PC it seems.
(I pressed Install missing plugins but the list was empty, Firefox said no plugin found and I pressed Finish to close it. I wasn't going to install anything anyway just wanted to see)
