Now that's the perfect system at the moment. Sure, you can go crazy and buy the most expensive stuff out there but we know only dimwits with too much money will do that. This system demonstrates the perfect price/performance high performance system out there (although I would've taken the 2500k and overclocked it past 2600k-levels).
Of course, the Bulldozer will show up in June at which point things may be slightly different. But it doesn't matter, it's a great system you've got there Acer.

Yeah I thought about getting a 2500k, but the price diff was so small so I figured what the hell.
Whats the best method of applying cool paste on the cpu? I used to carefully smear some on the cpu and then cover it completely using a razor, but I searched youtube for some pointers and most people go with the pea or line (X) method?

Pea method is the one I use these days.. I used to smear it out with a plastic card but pressure + heat will make the goo spread out according to the surfaces anyway if you use pea or X method.

Cool, thnx. Was one of the things I really dreaded when getting a new comp because it was such a hassle to fine smear that paste over the cpu and get it just right.

Small dab, size of a rice grain and then let the pressure and heat do their work like Frant says
Nice system mate! What case are you putting it all in?

Seems you cant run raid 0 on the intel sata ports, only marvell and then only at 3 Gbit/s.
Would it be better to run non-raid disks at 6 Gbit/s?
