its moot either way, as after a future patch we can just copy the new gog executable. But yes, annoying for those not in the know.

Wrong place and time for such assumption, pal. This is not EA or Activision.
Another proof you're speaking just for the sake of it. I could agree with you for lots of other publishers but this time, the past experience (the whole The Witcher 1 updates saga, EE included) is in CDRP's favor.
And I think every gamer that considers himself worthy of posting notable information/opinions around here should have known this by now. |

Im not arguing they wont fix it. They most likey will, I followed the whole Witcher patching process.
That being said, he is as a fact using the usual community manager handwaving, which is what made me chuckle. Nothing more, nothing less. But Il stop arguing the point, as I seem to fail to make it.

Well sry about being so defensive (or aggressive eh). But I really admire these neighbours of mine and it's always nice to see that not everything is this world is pure bullshit marketing and that some people actually deliver their promises and also some heart alongside the products/services they are providing.

As long as they will make something as great as The Witcher games and they will treat it with the same care as they did with The Witcher games, I definately want to see them coming with a new IP.

Isn't it a bit early to show "key facts and a live gameplay demo" of a completely new IP though?
They just released TW2.. and E3 is in 2 weeks..
So it's probably something related to The Witcher IP..
An XBLA title..?

I actually would like to see a scifi shooter from these guys. With their talent to tell great stories and make a creative and living world, they could produce one hell of a scifi shooter/light RPG combo.

Considering that interview with Gop, I think it's safe to say that it won't be "They", but rather another RPG. What I would like to see from them, is something set in a near future, cyber-punk, Blade Runner style. Dark, gloomy and morally challenging, because they're masters at that. Or... a vampire themed game. That could be immensly awesome too.

Only key mapping and mouse invert are certain, they gave no other info. I for one hope they fix the weird dice poker angle :/ You get some good XP and nice items by beating dice poker player.

From the beginning it made perfect sense to me that their plan is to introduce The Witcher IP to console gamers with a downloadable title to prepare them for the upcoming Witcher 2 console release.
