I don't like the new way that ie9 downloads files, is there a way to reset to the old style download?
What i mean is when you click a file download link, it gives you a small bar at the bottom of the screen and you have to select either run, save, save as ect... can i remove this and revert back to the old way? me no likey!

Funny, because both Chrome and Android behave exactly as IE9, which is not something he wants. 
Also, IE9 is rather good, and with proper HW acceleration (no stupid blur fonts), it is fast as well. 
I am not aware of any way to modify that dialog/behavior. Perhaps use a download manager that offer similar functionality.

Allow me to just chime in and ask for your address, so I can send an envelope with some white powder, because you are part of the problem for web developers
IE9 is the first version that does not require a separate CSS file just to get a website to fucking work properly 
Edit: and if a site works in IE, but doesn't work in Chrome/FF/Opera, in 99.99% of all cases that's because it was made by a fucking retard of a developer |
Well that's damn nice of you, 350g of plain white flour would come in handy, i'm making some gingerbread cookies for my son later, not sure how envelopes you'll need for that though
The most important website for me didn't work in chrome, and that's where i check my works orders from, maybe it was made by a retard but it works in ie
All i want is the old style dialog back as i prefer the old system of downloading!
