So friday after a long night from work I came home relaxed turned off comptuer went to bed.
Then it all began. The never ending SHIT.
I wake up and turn the computer on. Disk Boot Error. Ok whatever. I have a corsair 800D and has the hotswap bay with SATA boards the HD slides into. Look up the case and you'll see what I mean. They've slowly been dying so I've had to use ones that were working. Well I pulled out my games drive put the OS drive in it and wallah. Ok fuck so that means I only have 1 working out of 5.
I, about a few weeks, prior got corsair to send me out a replacement, they actually sent me out an upgraded board that has SATA 2 support on it.
Ok so whatever, I finally get around to putting in the new board. Plug it in, Disk Boot Error. Nothing will get me past it :'(
So I say hell with it. It's been over 6 months since I did a fresh install. Couldn't even get fucking windows disk to boot up right, finally get in adn windows won't install to the HD. Kept throwing errors.
WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED WHEN I WENT TO BED. I assume throughout time that sata board was going bad and wasn't working with the information correctly and was causing errors on the HD as time went and finally went on it's last leg when I turned it off. So I had to do a bunch of bullshit command line shit and finally got it all sorted.
Windows is installed. 6 Hours later.
Get everything installed drivers blah blah blah. Fuck it, I need some games. Download steam and install it.
Oh guess what, FUCK YOU SPYKEZ AND YOUR GAMEZ! THIS IZ NEW COMPUTER FEED ME AUTHORIZATION CODE IN YOUR EMAYLZ!!
Ok fine steam guard protection dude. I'll go check mah emailz. I had to setup thunderbird since my email is pop3.
I use that password maybe once a year sometimes twice. Guess who forgot the fucking password and is absolutely NOTHING that it would normally be and can't for the life of me remember what it is.
So my email is @ameritech.net which got bought out by SBC which got bought by AT&T which later merged with yahoo so now yahoo controls the fucking email bullshit fuck ass crap. YAHOO!! WHAT THE FUCK DEWDS.
I try the forgotten password thing...I filled that shit out like 6 years ago and can't remember what I would put down for answers back then. Like childhood dog? Well I had a dog as a really young kid that I barely remember. Then there was my main dawg dog which there were like 3 different ways to spell her name.
I got account was disabled after the 2nd fucking try and was told to contact customer service. Doesn't say where that info is, just I had to contact them. They have no contact information for such. Just a bunch of link sthat lead to more links that leads to more shit.
Valve finally got back to me tonight and told me to provide the quick reference cards cd keys with my account name on them. Was like oh....that's all you need? Here...here's 3 of them. Oh hey such n such games were bought on this visa btw.
So apparently that's all I had to do from the start.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF oh screw it you get the point.

That's pretty cool on Valve's part. I guess they get a lot of crap like this. Pretty neat solution. Not likely someone will steal all the CD keys and Visa associated with your account.

Ya no doubt. I still haven't figured out my email since I last talked to you on what..saturday when I was popping blood vessels? lol
I even scanned my ID with all the cd keys just to add a cherry on top lol,I want my damn account back.

lol..this maybe sounds funny. but I write all my passwords to everything to on little paper and then hide it in my box that i lock and carry my key with me -,-..but i put all my important documents there

Not a bad idea. I got a 300 pound fireproof gunsafe in my room so I may just start doing that lol. |
