With the risk of repeating myself.. Anyone mananged to make the troll.dlc file work with the skidrow version? I can send the link to someone to verifiy in-game if you reached the first town and if the quest appears.
I'm still in the prologue.

UberSampling seems to kill the frame-rate. Disabling it fixes the biggest performance issues. Runs good but not great on my machine. There no sensible difference between the recommended High spec for my system and Ultra (with the optioned mentioned above disabled) so I guess there no reason to compromise.
I'm curious to see some real benchmarks, like how it runs on ATI vs NVidia since I'm running it on a ATI 5770 1080p and the game has the usual NV MTBP crap. Also is it only me or the Motion Blur still exaggerated. I wish they would find a way to compromise between the excessive filters that devs seem to be using now and something a bit more realistic. Moving the camera is like spinning in a 100Kph carousel.

i think i might install it on my other pc as well... i bet the game'd look fantastic fullscreen on a 40". only down side is the sound system and mouse/keyboard all sucks compared to this pc 
although... leather recliner + 40" tops crap sound and controls...

Got the game installed finally.
But whenever I double click the launcher.exe nothing happens at all. Any ideas? Tried running it as an admin as well but no dice.

@CDune: Just wait.. if you have a slower pc it takes a while. Installed the game on my primary pc and old pc and on the old one it took me 1-2 min to get in-game.

It'll be found automatically then in-game when you attempt to start a new game, mine all had the same name though but I'll try some other stuff later.
EDIT: Mao5 did you do a custom install to properly set the language options and availability?
(Also try running the config tool in the bin folder to set it to English from there if needed.) |
fuxx, after using USA VPN, I finally patched the game, then used the skidrow crack, all are ok.

Only the patch.. the dlc I don't think so.
Still looking for a way to make the dlc work because I have the troll.dlc file from JBeckman but I didn't reach Floatsam yet.

Hmm, its really strange. I cant copy and past the paul.dll file from the skidrow release. It just wont paste anywhere on the PC, never mind into the w2 directory. Anyone know why?

Your AV is blocking it. Paul.dll is triggering false positives in a lot of AV suites.
