It's too early to make a port. Dual boot or VM is the only way right now.

I don't think it even has some kind of protection, it got rushed in the integration aspect, the rest it's pretty complete and stable.

Might also be the stupid Creative sound card bug with XNA that I also saw (and reported) for Magicka (which still hasn't been fixed). Workaround is to use a different audio output device, one method of which is to use something like Virtual Audio Cable.

Yeah, why not ? Esüecially when you use 5.1 Sound on the PC, cause Soundcard surely beats Onboard sound.

i still get the same error. i own M-AUDIO Audiophile 2496 - its my master audio card and it is stereo. i also have a creative live! 5.1 with kxproject drivers installed, but it is disabled and the drivers are not even started. i installed a bundle of MS SHIT (framework, XNA, even the goddamn Visual C# Express or something, because XNA wouldn`t install without it) and still nothing. its a <10 mb game. it shouldn`t be that hard to start it.

There's no "controls" option within the leaked releases.

Lol, you didn't have .NET? Surprised What are you using? Windows XP?

nope, 7. i have NET 4.0, but i guess it needed some kind of update. i didn`t have XNA and in order to install it i had to install some kind of virtual c# app.

Also, .Net 4.0 doesn't include the previous .Nets, so if you need a specific version, you would have to install it if it isn't installed.

Hey this game has draining water, cool! Not even Half-Life 2 can manage that. Wink

Granted it's probably somewhat easier to pull off in a 2D game. Razz

Draining water is doable in 3D but to simulate it realistic it would require way too many resources of the GPU and is thus hardly used.

Widescreen fix:

Or just http://dl.flamehaus.com/TerrariaWrapper.exe

Also, after playing the game a bit more it's more like Castlemineprimia than it is a 2D Minecraft.

Also, don't run the game at resolutions higher than 1280x720(or something close to that). I tried 1920x1080 and it broke the game completely, no cursor and half the screen was black.

This shit is so boring compared to Minecraft. Neutral

Don't get me wrong but I was very anxious to play this game because I saw alot of people playing it and I thought it was hell of alot of fun but I really got bored fast today when I played it online for 2-3 hours with two friends of mine.. I even planned to buy this game if it was as fun as Minecraft, which in my opinion is totally awesome when you play it online with friends. ^_^

Tbh it's much better than Minecraft at the moment. Notch totally ruined MC when he put the bed system into Minecraft. The magic of MC was that you had to stay alert at all times at night, now you just press a button and wake up in the morning. Terraria doesn't have that thankfully.
