I heard that it has something to do with the size of disc (SF3 play disc)
the play SF3 disc CD3 of this game is only 495 MB , now with other SF3 games play disc is always larger(can someone who has KIllswich or beyond devinity confirm this?) and they have put dummy file on it to make disc larger otherwise SF3 is not effective...
this all i read somewhere dunno if its true..

I have a Toshiba SD-R5112 but as far as I know it doesn't matter what burner you have. I used a Octron 4x-10x CDRW but many different CDRWs and CDRs are supposed to work you just have to try a few. I did nothing special I just used the burning instructions in the nfo.

hmm...to much damm work,and it's already ruined 4-5 CD-s for me Evil or Very Mad
I'm flushing this damm release down in the toilet Very Happy I ordered my full hungarian version,and it should arrive tommorow...at least,this works Very Happy

p.s.:I'm wondering on a little thing....Codename: PANZERS is only out in Germany and Hungary?? Confused If the release date is correct on cdv.de,than bad luck for other countrie's gamers,because Panzers will be released in september in other countries Very Happy

how could you spoil 4-5 cd's if the NFO told you to burn on CD-Rewritable media ?

uhh, simply replace the .exe file with the demo .exe and load the save games from each level. Works fine!

The problem with it all in German is i have no fricken idea what to do half the time. If at least the objectives and writing could be in English, I'd be set. But the fourth German mission is leaving me sorta stumped.

translate mission objectives into english using babelfish. Most missions are quite obvious what you have to do, there's usually a pointer on the main map telling where to go.

Doesn't the fourt mission have that?

thats a pain in the ass...you can copy and paste that shit....can you?
Im not gonna sit and type a bunch of german in and it will take a long time cause we dont have some of their characters. It would be better too so i can figure out what the hell is going on, even if i know what i need to do (for story and stuff)

yes it does work. Only thing is u can't select the units you want for each mission. you have to play each level on default.

Never give up:

Burned with Liteon to TDK 80min CD-rw,
installed my old hp8200+ burner to my comp and avot, it works!!! Couldnt believe my eyes Smile (guess it was old enough to do the trick)

Finally I can test this and improve my german Smile

Hi I have the hungarian version of Codename Panzers,and it doesn't work! I writed CD3,as the german nfo sad,and I even gived the Starforce protection a serial when it needed (like at Toca Race Driver 2)...what's the problem?? Confused

now i'm playing da game for about 1 week and it rocks!

on my system the game works fine, the max-iso is absolutely ok, no
probs with the nasty sf3-protection.


hmm i burned the 3rd cd 4times onto a 700MB-RW purchased at Lidl here in .de using the LG/HLDS GSA-4081B Burner - all copies work fine Wink

It works. but its the demo exe and some savegames. You cant equip your troops or buy units, but it lets you play those missions on default units. Saddest part is that when one of your objectives is done, whole mission is done .

i used an old lite-on cdrw 48-24-28 burner
1ste i used bashua cdrws but those didn't work.
Now i used verbatims and ik ROCKS:)Smile
